Chapter Six

Ben's POV

I hugges her tightly, she buried face in my shoulder as I hugged her, I knew that she was crying. I hated watching her cry, especially when there was nothing I could do to help her. I held her in my arms as she cried.

Rey's POV

I buried my face in his shoulder, crying silently as he held me tightly.

"Young child, he doesn't love you, he never has," the cruel voice said to me silently, "and he never cared about you."

I closed my eyes, wanting to wake up from the nightmare I had been living in for the past two months. Silently pleading the voice to just go away and leave me alone, but I knew that the voice wouldn't leave me alone, no matter what I did. I had never in my life felt so hopeless or so alone, even though I was in the arms of the only person I could trust.

"Kitten, you should get some rest," Ben whispered to me quietly.

"Can I sleep here tonight, I don't want to be alone right now," I asked quietly, still hugging him tightly.

"Yeah, of course," he replied quietly, playing with my hair.

"Thank you," I said to him softly.

I lay down in the bed, and he lays down beside me. He had one arm around me protectively as we fell asleep.

"Good night, Kitten," he whispered to me as we laid there in bed

"Good night, Ben," I replied quietly.
