4 years after

Edward's POV

Nagtaka siya nang makita ang panganay niya na umiiyak habang nakaupo sa kama nito, his planning to say goodnight at ito ang naabutan niya. For four years life been a a heck of a cycle for them,after what happen to dale, Ive made sure na they are fully secured. Nagpakasal sila ulit after one year, at ngayon they are happily living in their new house kasama ang panganay nila. Dale is actually pregnant, yes it took us that long bago na sundan si Miracle which they fond of calling Mira. But for him she is his little princess, dahil kahit hindi nang galing sa kanya siya naman ang kinamulatan nitong ama. And the little girl is so sweet, so how can he not love her?

"Bakit umiiyak ang baby princess ko?"tanong ko dito nang malapitan ito. The little girl look at him habang walang tigil ang luha nito.

"Why did you lie to me daddy? Why did you not tell me that I'm not your real daughter?"umiiyak na tanong nito. "Narinig ko po si uncle nico saying how sorry he is for not helping right away di sana hindi nabuntis si mommy nang mga lalaking nangrape sa kanya."

Napabuntong hininga siya kasabay sa paghila nang maliit na katawan nito at pagyakap dito, Miracle is a smart baby, for her age madami na itong alam kaya hindi siya nagulat at naintindihan nito ang nadinig na pag uusap ni Dale at ang nagligtas dito noon na si Nico.

"Daddy didnt say it because daddy dont wanna hurt you, plus in my heart you are my daughter. I dont care where you came from cause for daddy ang mahalaga mahal ka niya. I love you like my own Princess, and it hurts daddy to see you crying. Im sorry if me and mommy lied, were just trying to protect you from pain. Naiintindihan mo naman ako diba?" malumanay niyang sabi dito.

The little girl look at him for awhile bago ito tumango at yumakap sa kanya.

"I love you din po Daddy, love ko po kayo ni mommy." she said that makes him smile.

Napatingin siya sa pintuan nang kwarto nito and there he saw his wife whose crying while watching them. Pumasok ito at nakisali sa group hug nila, she also kiss his forehead kaya napatingin siya dito.

"I love you." his wife said kaya hinalikan niya ito sa labi bago halikan ang ulo nang panganay nila.

A lot of guy can be father but it takes courage and love to be a dad.

Looking back to what happened before , wala akong pinagsisihan sa naging desisyon ko. I love Dale too much that thinking if iniwan ko siya alam kong babalik at magmamakaawa ako para maging akin ulit siya. Plus even if Miracle is not his blood and flesh in his heart the little girl is his daughter. I love her dearly that I know I wont let her go until I saw the person she gonna love in the future deserve her.

To all the people who question my decision isa lang ang masasabi ko.

Nagmahal lang ako, at ang pagmamahal nayun ang dahilan kaya may masaya akong pamilya ngayon.

You dont need to be blood related to love someone with all your heart. Kung ang aso nga na kaya mong mahalin, tao pa kaya?

But the lesson of our story? Learn to accept the things you cant change, let your heart guide you with god in your mind. And lastly Love someone like how you wanted to be love.
