"Good morning, mum", I said to Mil's mum as I ran down the stairs.
" Good morning, my love. How are you?", Mil's mum asked.
"Fine mum. How was your night?", I asked and walked to the sink to wash the plate.
"Peaceful. Sweety don't, the maids will do it",she said. Yeah, they have a maid, Mil is a really spoilt brat.
"Okay",I whispered and wiped my hand with a towel.
"I fried egg and yam for you and Mil. Where is she anyways?",she asked.
"The usual",I replied.
"I wonder how she will cope in school. Hope she won't lectures all because of sleep",she asked herself.
I sat on the stool in the kitchen and began to eat the fried yam and egg Mil's mum prepared. I stood up from the stool and went to the fridge to grab a cartoon of milk and grab a glass cup to pour a little portion into it.
"Good morning mum",Mil greeted as she walked to the kitchen.
"Morning honey",her mum said as her eyes were glued to the TV.
"What!!",she asked as I looked at her. She looked to pretty for someone who just woke up from sleep. Her hair isn't messy, she isn't in her pyjamas instead she wore a short and a crop top with her floppy slippers.
"I bathed and got dress, why do you look shocked. You know I don't come down until I have bathed. Seb brings guys home almost everyday, I just want to be prepared don't want to be looking like a monster when they come",she explained and I nodded my head and sat back on the stool and began to eat.
"Honey, can you go check who is calling on the landline?",her mum said.
"Okay ma",I stood and walked to the table the phone was on and picked the call.
"Richardson residence",I spoke.
"Hello sweetheart", I heard my dad's voice.
"Dad?", A smile appeared on my face.
"How are you dear? Have you packed for school? Have you eaten? Hope Mil isn't troubling you?",he bombarded me with questions and I laughed.
"I am fine dad. I haven't packed yet and I was eating before you called. And no, she isn't troubling me.",I chuckled.
"Okay then. I wanted to hear your voice before our plane takes off",he said.
"Okay. Don't sleep late or come home late just because I am not with you and make sure to eat a nutritional meal, no junks-"
"Hey, you are the only who eat junks not me",he laughed.
"Ohhhhh", I whispered, he is right.
"Take care of yourself. I love you Dad",I said slowly.
"Sure will. Love you",he said and hung up.
"Go get ready",Mil said behind me, startling me, making me jump.
"What!! Do you want to give me a heart attack? Where are we even going to?", I asked.
"For our party", she said and I nodded.
I just remembered, our set organised a party today. Everyone who was in our class are invited and it is mandatory we attend.
"Fine. Let me eat first",I walked to the kitchen but she held me back.
"Go get dressed. Please",she begged and I rolled my eyes.
"Fine",I said and ran upstairs to take my bath and get ready.
