Search of the Antiquorum (Astro boy X reader)

Finding something that was once lost

You hopped off the space ship and looked around in awe at the now dead planet. There was not a single life force in sight. Instead of lush green grass, only sand and dust lay in your wake. Instead of light blue skies there was only dust clouds that added to the yellow skies. This was Earth, revoked of all of its former glories. Plue landed beside you and handed you a mask.

"The air is poisonous here, you might want to take this mask." Plue told as he handed you the mask. You nodded and put on the mask. You then walked fully out of the ship and walked forwards with your backpack strapped to your back. In the distance, you could see some old broken down buildings and you smiled. That must be some city ruins. You looked down at Plue and smiled at him.

"We should get going Plue! There's a city up ahead!" You exclaimed as you began to run towards the city. Plue nodded and ran after you. As the two of you approached the city, Plue climbed onto your shoulders and looked down at you.

"Do you think we'll find anything here? I mean heaps of people have already searched the planet earth and so far nothing has been found other than old broken down robots and collapsing buildings." Plue told as he rested his paws on your head. You frowned at Plue.

"Well it couldn't hurt to look some more." You told. You then stopped and looked up at the large city buildings in awe. Red dust covered the walls and windows were broken. This place was truly a ghost town. You and Plue glanced at each other and gulped. The two of you then walked in together. You and Plue walked along the old concrete roads which have become covered in sand and have become cracked over the long years. You and Plue looked around to see old broken down robots and trash everywhere. Plue looked down at one of the broken down robots and kicked it its head. Plue then held his foot while hissing in pain.

"Ow, stupid tin can!" Plue shouted. You looked down at Plue and sighed.

"That's what you get for kicking an old robot. Come on, let's look around." You told as you ran forwards. Plue looked at you and pouted.

"Aye..." You took out a small phone like device and turned it on.

"Okay, this device should help us track any electronic brain waves in the area." You told as you pointed the small device in certain directions. Plue frowned at you as you didn't get much luck with the device.

"Y/N, this place has been abandoned for over 1000 years ago. You're not going to find anything he-" Plue was interrupted by the beeps on your small device and you smiled. You turned towards Plue and grinned.

"Plue! Do you hear that? The device has picked up on something! Maybe this planet isn't so dead after all!" You exclaimed. You then ran walked forwards where the device was pointed and followed the signal while Plue stood there with wide eyes. No way, was that even possible!? Plue hurriedly ran after you and jumped onto your shoulders. He then looked around and frowned at all of the lifelessness that surrounded the two of you. This planet really was dead. Nothing could grow on it, things only died here. It was a true wasteland. You kept following the signal until you stopped at a four story old rundown building that had definitely been affect by the years. You looked up with wide eyes at the building. Plue too looked up at the building and squinted his eyes to look at the sign.

"Hmm, min....y of sci.... It's too hard to make out." Plue told as he jumped off your shoulders. You looked up at the sign and saw that he was right. Parts of the sign had broken off. You walked towards the front doors and tried to open it, but the doors wouldn't budge. You frowned.

"These doors won't open." Plue looked up at the building and saw that part of the wall had been destroyed. Plue pulled on your trench coat and pointed to the hole.

"Hey Y/N, look! There's a hole in the wall." Plue told. You looked up and saw that he was right. But there was a problem, the hole was too far up. You couldn't reach any of the openings. You sighed and looked down at Plue.
