Search of the Antiquorum (Astro boy X reader)

Unexpected guests

You all stared up at the space ship with wide eyes. The man on the giant hologram grinned.

"My name is Alfonse, and we have come here for one of the twelve ancient documents leading to the Antiquorum." Alfonse told. Mayumi frowned at this.

"I'm sorry but I'm afraid that isn't at all possible. You'll have to join the chosen games if you want the document." Alfonse smiled and nodded.

"Why yes, of course. I'll be just a moment." You all watched as the ship landed right in the middle of the arena, forcing Astro and Kennedy to evacuate it. The doors to the spaceship opened to reveal Alfonse with a group of men behind him. Alfonse stepped off the ship and walked towards Mayumi who had left the stage to greet him. Alfonse smiled at Mayumi. "So, how do I sign up?" Mayumi gave him an apologetic look and smiled.

"I'm sorry, but registrations for participants to enter the games ended two days ago. You'll have to wait until next year." Alfonse laughed and nodded.

"Ah, but you see, I'm not at all interested in the games. I'm more interested in the prize you have on offer." Alfonse told. His smile then dropped and he took out a gun and pointed it to Mayumi's head. "Now, hand over the document before I blow your head off." Mayumi's eyes widened in horror and everyone began to evacuate. You gasped and held out your hand.

"Plue!"

"Aye sir!" Plue yelled as he turned into a crossbow and whip. You grabbed the said items and jumped down into the arena. You then pointed the crossbow at Alfonse's head while all of his men pointed their weapons at you. Astro's eyes widened and he went to take a step forwards when Kennedy held him back. Astro gave Kennedy a bewildered look while he shook his head. You gave Alfonse a stern look.

"Call them off and leave this planet." You growled out. Alfonse smirked and pressed his gun to Mayumi's head.

"Or what? You're not really in any position to be making any threats now are you?" Alfonse told as he gestured to all of his men around him. Your look however didn't waver.

"And neither are you. The moment they shoot, I'll shoot. The moment you shoot, I'll shoot. It's a stalemate. So, make your move." You threatened. Alfonse frowned at you. You were right. It didn't matter who would shoot first. Either way, you and Alfonse would die. Astro gritted his teeth and clenched his fists. He had to do something! Alfonse chuckled and smiled at you.

"You really aren't afraid to die, are you?" You only stared at him.

"Make your move." You repeated. Alfonse frowned and glanced at his men. Astro saw his men nod and his eyes widened. He then tackled Kennedy to the ground.

"Get down!" Astro shouted as Alfonse's men began to shoot at nearby civilians. You did not hesitate to shoot Alfonse. Alfonse however saw this coming and ducked. The bullet that you had fired had grazed his ear, ripping a chunk out of it. Alfonse winced and used Mayumi as a human shield. You tsked and jumped back.

"Damn you!" You shouted. Alfonse grinned and hurried back into the ship. Zack, Veronica and the other contestants ran out of the waiting room and into the arena. Stephanie's eyes widened when she saw Alfonse and Mayumi emerge from the space ship to the top of it.

"Mayumi!" Stephanie cried. Mayumi had a terrified look on her face. You growled and turned towards Astro.

"Astro! Let's go!" You shouted. Astro nodded and ran towards you. He then picked you up and immediately took off to the skies. Everyone's eyes widened, including Alfonse's. He was a robot!? Astro dropped you above Alfonse and you aimed a kick for his head. Alfonse smirked causing for your eyes to widen. Astro gasped and caught you just before you hit the electric barrier which surrounded the ship.
