Our oath

'You shuffled around the cupboards in the remains of your old house. You found some cans of food and handed them to Plue.

"Here, you can eat some of this." You told. Plue smiled and took the cans. He then used his claw to open them and he immediately dug in. You watched and smiled slightly as Plue plundered through the cans. Once he was finished, Plue patted his stomach and smiled in satisfaction.

"Ah, that was really filling." Plue admitted while rubbing his now round stomach. You smiled slightly at Plue. Plue glanced up at you and frowned at the state you were in. Blood stained your clothes, you had soot all over your body, and the ends of your hair were burnt. Plue sighed and stood up. "Hey, does the water system still work here?" Plue questioned. You nodded.

"Y-yeah, I think so." Plue smiled and grabbed your hand.

"Come on, let's take a bath. I'll clean you up." Plue offered as he dragged you over to the bathroom which miraculously remained in tact. Plue jumped up onto the bathtub and began to run the water. While he was waiting for the water to fill the tub, Plue turned towards you. "Take your clothes off. They're stained and need to be washed." Plue told. You looked down at your blood soaked clothes and you nodded. You then began to undress yourself while Plue readied the soaps. He then felt the water and nodded in satisfaction. "Yep! The perfect temperature." You looked at Plue and shuffled uncomfortably.

"Um, Plue, aren't you going to have a bath too?" You questioned. Plue glanced at you and looked down at himself. He DID look kind of grimy so a bath couldn't hurt. Plue looked back up at you and nodded.

"Aye! I could use one." Plue admitted. You smiled and ran over to Plue. You then sat down on a stool as Plue began to wash the soot off your body. Plue put down the sponge and grabbed a bucket full of water. "Okay, close your eyes." Plue instructed. You nodded and closed them as Plue rinsed the soap off your body. He then took out a pair of scissors. "I'm going to give you a hair cut now." You gave Plue a confused look.

"Eh? Why?" You questioned. Plue grabbed bits of your burned hair and showed it to you.

"The tips of your hair have been singed by the flames from the explosions. We need to cut it off." Plue told. You nodded and sat still as Plue began to snip off the bits of hair that were singed.  Eventually, Plue had finished and sat back. He then smiled at the handy work of your hair. Your hair now reached just above your shoulders, free of burns. Plue picked up the shampoo bottle and began to wash your hair. Once he was done with that, he rinsed the soap out of your hair and walked over to the bathtub. He then jumped up and jumped into the water while you joined him. Plue sighed in content and sunk into the warm water while you smiled. You then dipped your head under and grinned at Plue. Plue looked down at you and grinned. Both you and Plue then played together in the bathtub.

You hugged Plue as you closed your eyes, ready to go to sleep. Plue stared at your face.

"Hey, Y/N. Are you all alone?" Plue questioned. You opened your eyes and looked at Plue. You then shook your head and smiled.

"No, of course not. I have you after all." You told. Plue smiled at you. He then hugged you.

"Aye!" You grinned and hugged Plue back. You then heard an explosion in the distance and hugged Plue tighter. Plue frowned and looked up at your face. "Y/N, it's not safe here. We need to get away from here." Plue told. You looked at Plue and frowned.

"Bu-" Plue shook his head and held up a paw to your mouth.

"No, we'll die if we stay here. We need to get out of here as soon as possible." Plue stated. You frowned and glanced to the side. You then nodded.
