Search of the Antiquorum (Astro boy X reader)

City of the sky

The door opened and your eyes widened at the sight. You were in midair! You glanced back at Zack questioningly.

"Uh, yeah I contacted the people before and they said that it's alright for us to go there. Just not with our ship." Zack told from the pilot's seat. You sighed..

"Tell us BEFORE dropping us off!" You yelled. Zack sweat dropped. He then frowned.

"Actually, they denied us until I mentioned your name, and Astro's." Your eyes widened at this.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Zack turned back towards the radar and sighed.

"The city mayor, he wants to speak with the two of you. And only the two of you. Everyone else has to stay back." You and Astro glanced at each other nervously while everyone else frowned. "Oh, and he also wants to speak to Reno." Reno flinched and his eyes widened.

"Why me?" Reno questioned. Zack shrugged.

"Dunno, but the three of you better get going." Zack said. You nodded and Astro wrapped his arms around both you and Reno. He then jumped out of the ship and flew towards the city. Everyone watched with wide eyes as you all landed on the ground. Astro placed you and Reno on the ground and straightened. You looked around at the people who stared at you as if you were aliens. They wore heavy clothing and cloth wrapped around their heads. You shivered slightly and brought your trench coat closer to your body. You then glanced at Reno.

"We'd better find the mayor." You said. Reno nodded and turned towards the citizens of the planet.

"Um, excuse me. But could any of you tell us where to find the mayor?" Reno asked. The residents of Pruton gasped and turned away from Reno. You frowned at this.

"Rude..." You mumbled. Astro glanced at the two of you. He then ran up to a nearby resident and tapped them on the shoulder.

"Um, excuse me, but can you tell us where to find the mayor?" Astro questioned. The resident turned towards Astro and shoved him to the ground before running away. You and Reno gasped and ran over to Astro.

"Astro! Are you alright? Geez why did that person have up be so rude?" You questioned as you helped Astro up. Astro nodded and stood up.

"I'm fine." Astro then turned towards the citizens and noticed their frightful faces. "I think they're just scared...let's try to find the mayor on our own." Astro suggested. You nodded. A small girl with tan skin, brown hair and blue bell eyes then walked up to you.

"You're looking for the mayor, right?" The girl questioned. You nodded.

"Yeah, do you know where we can find him?" You questioned. The small girl nodded.

"Yeah, you can find him in the large tower." The girl said as she pointed to the large clock tower. A woman then came by and grabbed her by the hand.

"Abby! What have I told you about talking to strangers!" The woman scolded. Abby frowned slightly and glanced back at the three of you. She then smiled and waved.

"Bye bye." You all waved back. You then turned towards Astro.

"Welp, we know where the mayor is at least. Ready to go?" Astro nodded. You then turned towards Reno, who was staring after the little girl. "Reno? Ready to go? Reno?" You called as you waved a hand in front of his face. Reno jumped and turned towards you.

"Huh? What? Oh, uh, yeah. I'm ready, let's go." You nodded and Astro grabbed the two of you. He then flew off the ground and headed straight for the clocktower.

At the clocktower, Astro landed on the ground and rested the two of you onto your feet. You then looked up at the large doors leading into the building. Two security guards stood beside the doors and glanced at you. You waved slightly to them.
