You stood by the controls in the space ship while you watched Plue work on Astro's body. Now that he had the proper equipment, he could fix Astro up nicely. You would have helped too, but you were honestly nervous working with repairing a thousand year old robot. Astro had his eyes closed as the two of you worked on repairing Astro. Plue had his tongue sticking out of his mouth as he tried to reach the tight places of Astro's chest. It was a good thing that he was small or otherwise this would have been a lot more difficult. You sighed and looked down at the control panel. You were currently on standby, ready to power up Astro if the need arose. Plue sighed and looked towards you.

"Okay, I've finished the repairs. Let's power him up." Plue told. You nodded and pressed the power button. Electrical currents then entered Astro's body and Astro's eyes fluttered open. He then sat up and looked around in confusion.

"W-what...? Where am I...?" Astro questioned. You and Plue smiled and high-fived each other while grinning.

"We did it! He can now feel emotions again!" You exclaimed even though you didn't do anything. Astro looked at the two of you with a raised eyebrow and turned towards the two of you.

"Um, excuse. Where am I?" Astro questioned. He then cocked his head to the side. "And who are you?" You smile at Astro and held your hand out to him.

"I'm Y/N. I'm the one who found you. The one who fixed you up was my friend Plue here." You told as you gestured to the small cat, who waved at Astro.

"Hello!" Plue greeted. Astro stared at both you and Plue. You then walked up to him and leaned in very closely to his face.

"Hey, do you know anything about the Antiquorum?" You questioned. Astro's eyes widened and he leaned back a bit. He then shook his head.

"Um, no, I don't sorry. Actually..." Astro sat up properly and gave you a questioning look. "Who am I?" Your eyes widened as well as Plue's. You then grabbed Plue and dragged him away from Astro and whispered to him.

"I thought that you fixed him!" You whispered harshly. Plue shrugged.

"Hey! I trod my best with a thousand year old robot! Give me some credit!" Plue whispered back. You sighed and glanced back at Astro, who was looking around the space ship in interest. You hadn't left Earth yet for special reasons. You stayed in case Astro knew something about the Antiquorum, which you were now doubting that he didn't. You sighed and looked back at Plue.

"How are we going to get his memories back?" You questioned. Plue shrugged.

"I dunno, maybe if we let him wonder the Earth a bit he might remember something." Plue suggested. You nodded and walked towards Astro, who was trying to take off his boots but had no success. When Astro saw you approaching him, he looked up at you and smiled slightly. You smiled at him and leaned on the work bench he was on.

"Okay, so from what I've assessed, you have no memories whatsoever. Correct?" Astro nodded. "Okay, so that even includes your name." Astro nodded. You sweat dropped. This was a major step back in your plans. You then sighed and straightened. "Well, I'll at least try to give you a head start. Your name is Astro. And you're a robot." Astro's eyes widened and he looked down at his hands.

"So, I'm a robot? And my name is Astro?" You nodded.

"Yes. Although it is unfortunate that you don't remember anything, we'll be glad to help give you a head start in retrieving your memories." You told while smiling. Astro smiled at you and nodded.

"Thank you!" Astro thanked as he took your hands in his and shook them. You smiled at Astro and nodded.

"You're welcome! Now let's get started. We'll first start by exploring the city where we found you in." You told as you pulled on your gas mask. Astro gave you a confused look as you did this. You saw Astro's look of confusion and giggled. "I need this mask to breath because the air outside is quite poisonous." Astro's eyes widened and he covered his mouth. You burst out laughing at this. "Oh you don't need to worry about it, only I do. I'm human after all." Astro glanced at Plue and pointed to him.

"Um, what about him?" Astro questioned. Plue smiled and held up his paw.

"Oh, I'm quite resistant when it comes to poisons." Plue told while you nodded. Astro nodded in understanding and hopped off the bench. He then looked at you and smiled.

"Well, lead the way then." You smiled and nodded. You then turned around and walked towards the front door.

"Welcome back to Earth." You told as you opened the door, leading to the outside world.

Astro looked at the city with a sad expression. He then bent down to the ground and gently lifted up the arm of an old robot and turned towards you in sorrow.

"What happened here...?" Astro questioned. You sighed and looked over the city sadly.

"Unfortunately, this planet is now dead. The humans have abandoned this place and have created new homes on other planets." You told. Astro frowned and gripped the robot's hand in his.

"So they just left this place to rot?" Astro questioned. You rested your hand on his shoulder.

"No, that's not it at all. They had no choice, they had to leave." You explained. Astro sighed and dropped the hand to the ground. He then walked forwards and looked around at the broken city. You watched as Astro assessed the ghost town and gave him a sad look. You then felt Plue's paw on your leg and you looked down at him. Plue was looking at Astro with a sympathetic look and he sighed.

"Y/N, when we found Astro, I noticed something odd about his condition. Those bits of his body that weren't repaired properly...I think that was done on purpose." Plue told. Your eyes widened in shock.

"What!? What made you think that?" You questioned. Plue sighed and looked at Astro.

"The way he reacted when he first woke up. He was completely unresponsive." You shook your head and held out your hand.

"That's not true! He held my hand when he first woke up." Plue sighed.

"I mean in emotional terms! I mean, according to those documents that we found, he was one of the first robots to have Kokoro inside of them. Now days, Kokoro is commonly found in a lot of robots. Except they can't have any fighting abilities according to robot and human law so as to avoid having robots rebelling against humans." Plue explained. He then sighed and looked down. "I wouldn't be too surprised if he went berserk..." Plue muttered. You frowned at Plue and looked at Astro.

"Astro is a good robot. I'm sure that whatever happened to him was not his fault. Whoever put him inside of that capsule probably couldn't fix him." You told. Plue gave you and unsure look but nodded anyway. Astro sighed and walked back towards the two of you and gave the two of you a strained look.

"Um, I still don't remember anything..." Astro admitted as he gave you an apologetic look. You smiled and shook your head.

"That's okay, I'm sure that you'll get your memories back someday. For now though, we should get going." You said as you turned around and began to make your way towards the space ship with Plue. Astro stood in place as he watched both you and Plue walking towards the ship, unsure whether or not if he was meant to go with you or not. When you saw that Astro wasn't following you, you turned around and raised an eyebrow at him. "Are you coming?" You questioned. Astro's eyes widened.

"Coming? You mean, I'm coming with you?" You nodded and smiled.

"Yeah! Of course you are! Unless, you wanted to stay here..." Astro's eyes widened and he looked at the city. A look of fear then crossed his face and he ran towards you and shook his head.

"No, I don't want to be left alone here!" Astro cried as he grabbed hold of your hand and gripped it tightly. Your eyes widened in surprise. You then smiled and laughed.

"Astro, there's no need to be afraid. You're always welcome to be with us." You told. Astro looked at you with wide eyes. He then smiled and nodded.

"Thank you, Y/N." You nodded and took his hand in yours.

"Come on, let's go!" You exclaimed as you dragged him over towards the ship. Astro grinned at you and nodded. He was glad that he had met you. If he hadn't, then he would still be stuck in that capsule where he was put to sleep. Astro's eyes widened. Sleep....why did that word frighten him so much? Astro shook his head and he followed you inside of the ship where Plue was waiting for the two of you.
