Search of the Antiquorum (Astro boy X reader)

The battle of fate

Luka's arm hardened as Astro threw a punch towards him. Astro's eyes widened and he jumped back. Luka's sleeve had been torn, revealing his metal arm.

"You're a robot?" Astro questioned. Luka smiled and showed off his arm.

"No, not quite. I only have a few body enhancements is all. These limbs give me equal power to that of a robot's so you and I are on equal ground." Luka stated. Astro frowned and got into a fighting stance.

"So that means that I don't have to hold back on you, correct?" Astro then ran forwards without waiting for a reply from Luka. Luka's arm changed into a sword and he blocked Astro's arm. The two of them skidded across the ground and gritted their teeth as they fought a battle of strength. Plue banged his fists on the Antiquorum's core while calling your name as Reno and Kennedy attempted to pull you away from it.

"Y/N! Please, wake up! You've got to wake up!" Plue cried. Kennedy gritted his teeth as he pulled on your arm.

"Come. On! You've. Got. To. Wake. Up!" Kennedy gritted out. Luka grabbed Astro's arm and threw him across the room. Astro cried out as his back connected with the wall. He then growled and pushed himself off the wall and charged at Luka. Luka took a step to the side, dodging Astro's attack. However, Astro's right arm grabbed Luka by the neck and threw him to the ground. Luka cried out and coughed as he got winded. Luka then growled at Astro and sat up.

"Why are you trying so hard!? This is her sole purpose! This is the only reason that she's even alive! So why try to save her!? You'll only kill her in the end. If you shut down the Antiquorum you'll be killing her also." Luka yelled. Astro frowned and stood over him.

"No, I won't kill her. Like I said before, I'll just have to make do without shutting it off. I'll destroy the Antiquorum all on my own." Astro told. Luka's eyes widened at this.

"Are you insane!? You'll end up creating a giant galactical explosion, creating a giant black hole! Do you not know the consequences of that!?" Luka cried. He then frowned. "Is it really worth the risk to save just one girl?" Astro frowned and nodded.

"Y/N isn't just 'some girl', she's very important to me. And I will save her no matter what!" Astro yelled. Luka growled and tried to stand up, but found that he couldn't. His eyes widened and he fell to the ground. Astro then turned around and began to make his way towards you. Luka's eyes widened at this.

"Hey, wait! What do you think that you're doing!? Don't touch her!" Luka yelled. Kennedy and Reno stopped pulling and stood back. Astro walked up to you and cupped your face in his hands.

"I created the Antiquorum and its soul, so I know how things work. Y/N, it's time to wake up now." Astro told. You didn't move an inch. Astro frowned slightly. "It's because of the core, isn't it? It's not letting you wake up. Don't worry, I'll wake you up and I'll separate you from this thing." Just as Astro reached out to you, a laser beam was shot at him. Astro grunted and glanced back at Luka who was now back on his feet. The bright orange glow died down as he lowered his hand.

"I won't let you take her back so easily." Luka stated. He then held both his hands out and smirked. "She will be the angel of death who's fury will rain down on robot kind. She WILL be the Antiquorum's champion!" Astro frowned and held his own hand out. It then transformed into a canon as he charged up a laser beam.

"Only I get to decide that." Astro told. He then narrowed his eyes and Luka. "I won't let you use the Antiquorum or Y/N for your purposes! Robots have just as any right as the rest of the humans!" Astro shouted. He couldn't believe that there were still humans that would want the destruction of robots. And the fact that he wanted to use you as a biological weapon is just...Astro glanced back at you. 'I guess even after a thousand years there are humans like Luka that are still out there.' Astro thought bitterly as he turned back towards Luka.
