You groaned slightly and shifted your position on the ground. That's when you felt something under you and your eyes slowly opened. You then glanced under you to see Astro who grunted in pain. You gasped and hurriedly got off him.

"Astro! I'm so sorry, are you okay?" You questioned as you helped Astro up. Astro held his hand to his head and nodded.

"Yeah, I'm okay. But I feel...weird." Astro admitted as he stared into your worried filled eyes. You frowned and checked Astro for any wounds.

"Well, it doesn't seem like you have any wounds currently on you. But just to be safe, try to be careful." You warned. Astro nodded and you stood up and helped him up. Astro then wobbled a bit and grabbed hold onto you to keep himself stable. You held his hands and furrowed your brow in worry. "Are you sure that you're alright?" Astro nodded and gave you a reassuring smile.

"I'll be fine, I just need time to get back to my senses." Astro told. He then glanced around the room. "I wonder where we are." Astro questioned. You shrugged and wrapped Astro's arm around your shoulders. Astro gave you a questioning look as you stumbled towards the dark hallway which was the only exit out of the barren room.

"You said that you were feeling weird, you probably injured yourself internally." You guessed. Astro frowned and nodded. You then looked forwards. "Come on, let's get going. Can you use your head lights?" Astro stared at you for a moment before nodding. He then shone light into the darkness and moved forwards with you. As the two of you were walking, Astro kept glancing at you. He felt REALLY weird. You smiled when you saw a door and tugged on Astro's hand. "Come on, Astro! I see a door!" You exclaimed as you tugged him along.

"Coming..." Astro muttered. You stopped in front of the door and gave him a confused look. You then twisted the door knob which opened to a large round room. Oddly enough, the room was lit. Your eyes widened and you walked towards the centre of the room.

"No way, how are the lights on? Is someone else down here besides us?" You questioned as you looked around. You then noticed that Astro hadn't made a comment and turned towards him. "Astro?" Astro was staring at the ground. You frowned and walked towards him. "Astro...?" Just as you reached out to touch his shoulder, Astro dashed forwards and knocked you to the ground. You cried out in surprise as Astro pinned you to the ground. You looked up at him with wide eyes. "Astro, what are you doing!?" Astro only stared at you, his eyes looked fogged over. You furrowed your brow in confusion. Astro then leaned his head on your chest. Your confusion grew even more. Was he in pain?

"I...can't take it anymore..." Astro whispered. Your eyes widened as he stared into your eyes. His eyes were...

Plue charged at the pink flamingo and aimed one of his beams at it. He fired the small purple beam and jumped onto the flamingo.

"Give me back my best friends!" Plue yelled as he gripped the flamingo around its neck and began to shake it. Kennedy, Reno, Veronica and Zack sweat dropped at the scene. Tears rolled down Plue's cheeks as he continued to strangle the broken robot. The robot's eyes flashed from red to blue. Reno's eyes widened.

"Plue, wait! Don't attack it!" Reno cried as he ran over to the pink flamingo robot. Plue looked at Reno with a bewildered look.

"What!? But this bird was the one who sent Y/N and Astro to who knows where!" Plue cried.

"Yes, we know that! But as long as Y/N is with Astro then they're both safe. This robot, it's trying to tell us something." Reno told as he turned towards it. The bird robot looked up at Reno. Its raging red eyes then calmed to a calming blue and it slowly trotted up to Reno. Reno smiled softly at the robot and held his hand out. "Hey there little guy, it's alright now. You're safe." The bird stared at Reno. It then shook its head and showed Reno the computer. Reno frowned and Veronica walked over to him.

"What is it trying to say?" She questioned.

"I'm not entirely sure, but I think it wants me to have a look at the data on the computer. I'll check it out." Plue frowned and watched as Reno attempted to type some things but clicked his tongue. "Damn it, it's in another language. Only Astro can read this language." Plue jumped up onto Reno's shoulders and looked at the computer.

"I'll translate for you. Astro shared some of his knowledge with me about the old language, so I might be able to help." Plue told. Reno smiled and nodded. Together, he and Plue then began to search the data base of the flamingo's internal hard drive system while the others watched. Finally, Plue and Reno found the specific information the flamingo wanted to show them and their eyes widened in shock.

"What is it?" Kennedy questioned. Plue and Reno gave each other worried glances and turned back towards the computer.

"T-this document...it's an article on a robot outbreak...apparently all robots with kokoro have gotten out of control due to an unknown source..." Plue breathed. Everyone's eyes widened at this.

"So, that war between robots and humans over a thousand years ago wasn't just a disagreement? They had actually gone out of control?" Veronica summarised. Plue frowned and nodded. Zack then gasped. Everyone turned towards him questioningly.

"What is it?" Plue questioned. A horrified look crossed Zack's face.

"Astro was apart of that war, right? Plus he's been acting weird ever since we got here. What if he's..." Zack said, afraid of completing the sentence.

"Going out of control..." Reno breathed with wide eyes. He too then gasped. "If that's the case, then Y/N is in danger!" Reno cried. Everyone gasped and gave each other worried looks. Plue then gritted his teeth.

"I was right...we have to find them!" Everyone nodded and ran out of the room while the flamingo robot laid on the ground, conserving its energy.

You stared up at Astro with wide eyes. His eyes, they were a bright red. Astro gritted his teeth as he fought his urges.

"I-I can't control it. T-these urges. Please, r-run away before I hurt you." Astro gritted out. You only stared at him. Astro clenched his eyes shut. "PLEASE! I'm a monster, please, JUST RUN AWAY!"

"No." Astro's eyes snapped open as he stared at you in disbelief. He then shook his head and gave you a desperate look.

"Please, Y/N. I'm begging you, just run away! I'll catch up to you once these urges go down. So please, just run!" You shook your head and gave Astro a stern look.

"I'm not running, I refuse to leave without you." Astro was about to retaliate when he froze. He then growled and sat on your stomach. He then wrapped his hands around your throat and began to squeeze. You winced and raised your hands up to his and gently rested them on his. "I...won't run...!" You gasped out. You couldn't breath, he was so strong. "I won't run....because you're my....friend.... I...love you....Astro..." You gritted out. Astro's eyes widened and his hands slipped from your neck. You gasped and breathed heavily as you tried to get your breathing back to normal. You then stared up at Astro and smiled warmly at him. "I love you so much, Astro. That's why I won't leave without you. We came in here together, and we're coming out together." Astro stared at you with wide eyes.

"You're...not going to leave me here...?" You nodded and smiled at him. Astro's eyes widened even more when he saw your smile. So many emotions rushed through Astro at that moment. Tears welled up in Astro's eyes as he stared down at you. His eyes then returned to his normal chocolate brown and he began to tremble. His tears rolled down his cheeks and they landed on yours. Astro then buried his face in your neck and hugged you tightly as he began to cry. You sighed and rubbed his back soothingly.

"It's alright. I'm here." You whispered. Astro trembled.

"I...almost killed you..." Astro muttered. He then leaned up and looked at you with teary eyes. "Y/N, without you here, I don't know what I'd do... I hurt you..." You continued to smile at Astro and lifted your hands up and cupped his cheeks in them.

"That wasn't you. I know that you wouldn't ever want to hurt me. Come on, let's go find the others." Astro's lower lip trembled and he had to bite on it to keep it from trembling. He then hugged you tightly and nodded.

"Y-yeah." You smiled and Astro for off you. He then held his hand out to you and you took it. Astro pulled you up and together, the two of you proceeded through to the next room. Once the two of you had left the room, a mysterious figure peeked around from the corner and clicked their tongue. They then crept back into the shadows.
