Search of the Antiquorum (Astro boy X reader)

One big happy family

You all stared gobsmacked at Zack who sat at the long dining table with who knows how many girls surrounding him. You gripped your fist as your eye twitched in annoyance. What the hell did this idiot think he was doing!? Zack tried to get up but the girls around him kept him down in his seat and he sighed. You were about to yell at Zack when you felt an odd presence beside you. You looked to your side and you immediately held onto Astro. Veronica had the most terrifying look on her face at the moment as she glowered at Zack. If looks could kill then Zack would have died fifty times over. Veronica raised her fingers and clicked them.

"Zack." Veronica growled out with so much malice that you, Plue and Astro had huddled together out of fear for the older girl. Zack too noticed this and gulped. He then waved his hands around.

"W-wait I can explain!" Veronica cracked her knuckles as she approached Zack.

"You better start explaining before I punch your face in." Zack gulped and nodded.

"W-well as you know we were ambushed..."

'I sighed and blew some hot hair into my hands and rubbed them together. It was just way too cold here! Plue was digging through the snow and sighed.

"I can't find anything." Plue complained. He then looked up at me. "You find anything?" I shook my head. To be honest, I hadn't even been looking all that thoroughly. All I did was just watch Plue while thinking. Like hell I was going to tell him that.

"No, I didn't see anything." I told. Plue let out a sigh and dug around in the snow a bit more. Suddenly, something wrapped around Plue's body. Plue's eyes widened and he looked frantically.

"W-what's going on!?" Plue cried. I gasped and ran forwards.

"Plue!" I cried as I reached out for him. Suddenly I was struck on the back of my head and I fell forwards. I felt a ringing in my ears as my head began to throb. I struggled to look up at my attacker and glowered at them. Out of the corner of my eye I saw that Plue gave me a terrified look. My eyes then widened when the, what I presumed to be was a whip, lit up a neon green and strange lines of electricity engulfed Plue's body. Plue cried out and the pupils in his eyes disappeared as he fell backwards. I turned my head towards him and my vision began to grow dark. I struggled to keep my eyes open but I just simply couldn't. I then ended up falling into a deep slumber.'

You all frowned at the first part of Zack's story. Veronica then raised her eyebrow at Zack.

"And then? Why are you here acting as if you are their leader or whatever?" Veronica questioned. Zack gulped and scratched the back of his head.

"Well, to be honest I'm not too sure of it myself." Zack admitted. One of the girls next to him hugged him and smiled.

"It's because he's the chosen one! He's got like gold eyes and stuff and the prophesy says that a man with golden eyes will come here to reclaim his lost treasure." You raised an eyebrow at this girl.

"Lost treasure?" The girl who had her arms wrapped around Zack's neck nodded.

"The document of course! The document that you guys were like looking for?" Your mouth opened in realisation and you nodded.

"Ah, that makes sense." The girl nodded. She then looked at Zack and her eyes immediately turn into hearts.

"Ah but nobody said that the chosen one would be this handsome." The other girls cried out in agreement and closed in on Zack. Zack gasped and tried to get out of the group hug but struggled to.

"H-help!" Zack cried. Veronica sighed and snapped her fingers again, the noise echoing throughout the hall. Everyone turned towards her and Veronica looked at them. She then rested her hands on her hips.
