Let the games begin!

You, Astro, Veronica, Plue and Zack stood in front of Mayumi who smiled at the four of you.

"I see that you're all up bright and early. How did you all sleep?" Mayumi questioned. Zack grimaced at the memory of him waking up with a sore back while you blushed slightly at the memory of waking up this morning.

'Your eyes slowly fluttered open and you yawned. You then made an attempt to stretch but found that your arms and legs were pinned to either the bed or your body. You frowned looked down to your waist to see that a pair of arms were wrapped around you. You then looked forwards and held your breath. Astro's sleeping face was only mere inches from yours. You stared at Astro with wide eyes. You then glanced down at your legs and saw that they were all tangled up with his. Your face flushed beet red and you lightly tapped on his chest.

"A-Astro, wake up. I can't move." You whispered so as to not wake Plue up. Astro shifted his body weight and held onto you tighter. Your eyes widened. Uh oh, the situation was getting worse! You attempted to push yourself away from Astro but his grip on you was just too tight. You then heard a flash go off and your eyes widened as you looked up. To your horror you saw Plue grinning at you slyly while holding a camera.

"Aww, what such lovely sibling love." Plue cued. You growled at Plue and glared at him.

"Stop sitting there taking photos and help me!" You shouted. You then used all of your strength to roll over Astro and you fell off the bed. Astro however still had a tight grip on your waist and you ended up bringing him down with you. You landed on your back and cried out when Astro landed on top of you. Astro's eyes snapped open and he lifted himself up slightly. He then looked down at you and he blinked at you.

"Y/N? Why are we on the floor?" Astro questioned as he rested his arms on either side of your head. You stared at Astro with a heavy blush on your face and you sighed. You then fell back and shook your head.'

You blushed heavily at that memory. You then rested your hand over you chest. Your heart was beating so fast! Astro noticed your flushed face and cocked his head to the side in confusion while Plue snickered. You grabbed him around the neck and began to shake him. Mayumi turned towards Zack and smiled at him.

"We have finished the preparations for the trial, lord Zack." Mayumi announced. You all gave her a confused look.

"Trial?" Mayumi nodded and held her hands behind her back.

"Why yes. As the chosen one, Zack must fight for the document alongside his champion of his choosing." Mayumi said. Zack frowned and took a step forwards.

"I don't get it, I thought that we were just going to receive the document." Zack complained. Mayumi shook her head and continued to smile at Zack.

"Oh no, you must prove yourself to be worthy of the document. After all, it will lead you to a great treasure." Mayumi told. You threw your head back as you groaned.

"Argh, why is it so difficult to get a simple piece of paper!?" You complained. Veronica's face matched yours of annoyance and she frowned at Mayumi.

"This is totally unfair!" Veronica yelled. Mayumi frowned at Veronica and rested her hand on her hip.

"Oh? Well let's say that we didn't have that rule. What if someone else came along and we just handed the document over to them? The document would have disappeared years ago then." Mayumi explained. Plue glanced up at Veronica when she was at a loss for words.

"She's right you know. If this system didn't exist then the document would probably be lost forever." Plue stated. Veronica frowned at him and sighed. Dang it, the stupid cat was right. Mayumi smiled at the five of you and bowed her head to Zack.
