Max's POV

I should've known it was too good to be true. Well I guess all good things come to an end. Okay, I'm using way to many metaphors. I only used two but that two too many. I cupped my face in my hands as a stinging sensation ran through my face. I looked at Trevor who was wide eyed. All I want is for him to stand up to them. I'm sick of it. I opened the car door and got out into the middle of the street. "Max, where do you think you're going?!" Trevor yelled from in the car. "Away from them!" I yelled running home. Trevor got out and ran after me. He didn't yell at me at all he just walked along next to me, as a brother.

Jc's POV

I felt bad for starting up the bullying again, so the boys and I took a trip to Trevor's place. We drove instead of walking which we seemed to have been doing a lot lately. As we were driving up to the house we see an ambulance right in front of their house. We park and run up to Trevor who's waiting outside behind the ambulance. "Trevor, what's going on?!" I say really worried. I peeked inside and see a glimpse of a girl. "Max." I say almost in a whisper. "Trevor, why is Max in an ambulance?!" I said louder than before. The rest of the guys looked inside the ambulance as worried/sad looks swept across their faces. Sam looked as if he were about to break down crying. Same with Trevor (of course). "M-Max..." Trevor started but couldn't seem to finish the sentence. "Spit it out, Trevor!" we all yelled. He took a deep breath and said,

"Max has leukemia."
