The Private School

Chapter 36

"Addi! Addi!" I hear my name called as I walk into school.

"Hey Cupid" I answer as I realise it's Alice.

"Hey, did you get your exams results yet?" She asks. Our results are here?

"No?" I answer as a question.

"They got e-mailed to everyone this morning, check your school e-mail" She tells me.

"Will do, have you sorted things out with Jake yet?" I ask. They kind of broke up, she got pissed because he didn't talk to her much over the holidays, they've been split for like a week or so now. We're all working on getting them back together but it's taking time.

"No, he practically ignored me over the summer" She reminds me.

"He was out of the country, unable to talk to you, it's hardly his fault and he's apologised a dozen times" I point out. He was over in America with his family and couldn't talk, he said he wanted to and missed Alice like crazy but I guess she just got mad.

"He still could have found a minute to message me explaining the situation" She says in her defence. Like I said it's a working progress.

"Hi everyone" Jake greets as he approaches us.

"Hey Jake" I say. Alice ignores him.

"Are we still doing this babe?" Jake asks her.

"I am not your 'babe'" She says spitefully.

"Ali!" I half yell.

"What? We're not dating anymore, so I'm not his babe" She points out.

"Are you really going to throw away a year and a half together just because I wasn't able to talk to you that much over the summer, I did pretty much the same thing last summer and you were ok with it" Jake says. He's got a point.

"You could have spared a minute to message me a quick 'hi babe, missing you, sorry but I'm in America at the moment with family so I can't talk much, love you', you couldn't even do that?" She argues.

"You know what, I should have done that, and I'm sorry I didn't, I should have, I don't think like you do and think of these things, I'm sorry" He says.

"Whatever" She says barely giving him any attention causing him to sigh.

"Anyway, I am going to go and look at my results, see how many I got a bad grade in" I say as I awkwardly remove myself from the situation.

"See you later Addi" Jake says.

"See you a break" Ali says.

"Laters guys" I say as I walk away. Please sort yourselves out, soon!

I go to the library and find a spare computer, I log in and go onto my school e-mail, I don't use this e-mail that much, I have a personal e-mail that I use more. Once I am logged in, I see that I have my results the most recent e-mail.

"Ok, lets see this" I mutter to myself as I open the results. I read them carefully and I'm stunned at all of the results. "Ok then" I mutter to myself. I need to show this to Stefan.

I log out of my e-mail and then the computer, I grab my stuff and speed walk to Stefan's classroom. Once I get there I see him sat at his desk on the computer, focussed on the monitor.

Knock Knock

He looks over to me and a smile immediately spreads across his face.

"Hey you" He says as I go in and shut the door over.
