Chapter 14

BEEP BEEP

I turn of my alarm as I wake up, I have been awake for a few minutes but still in bed sleepy. I remember events of the last month or so being with Stefan and smile, I'm dating the man I really like, maybe even love, ok he's my teacher but as long as we are careful then nobody should find out. Dad isn't suspicious, which is great, even though I'm permanently texting Stefan. I am really looking forward to seeing him though. I have him half way through the day, between break and lunch. I haven't felt this happiness in, ever I don't think. I get up and have a quick shower and get dressed. I make a sandwich to eat for breakfast, and make sure my school work is all in my bag. I decide to quickly text Stefan, I don't expect him to answer though.

'Good morning, looking forward to seeing you later :) x' I send. I walk out of my door.

"Hey Addi" I hear behind, Jake, it's Jake, I know the voice.

"Alright Jake?" I ask before I look his way as I shut my door.

"You can tell it's me without looking at me?" He asks. I turn and face him.

"Yeah, I know your voice now" I say.

"Fair enough, so how are you today?" He asks.

"I'm amazing today, you?" I ask back.

"Me and Ali had a little fight last night but other than that I'm ok, why are you amazing?" He asks.

"Just am, you and Ali had a fight? I thought you two were tight as" I say surprised that they fought.

"We are usually, but every couple have arguments, I'm sure we'll be fine, I just need to apologise to her" He says.

"I would hate to see you two break up, anyway let's go" I say. I feel my phone buzz in my pocket.

"You're popular" Jake says as I pull my phone out. A text from Stefan.

'Same, see you later x" It reads.

"Who's Justin?" Jake asks looking at the ID, I hide my phone from him.

"Just another friend" I say. I cannot let him know who Justin really is!

"Mr Colt?" He asks.

"No, no way, he's my teacher why would I have his number?" I ask.

"Because-" I interrupt him.

"We are nothing, nothing other than teacher and student!" I say to assure him again.

"If you say so" He says. We get to the first lesson and just as we are getting ready to go in, I see Alice.

"Hey Ali" I say, Jake turns around.

"Hi Addi" She says.

"Hey babe" Jake says. Ali ignores him.

"Ali, talk to him" I say.

"I don't want to, can me and you hang out later, have some girl time?" She asks.

"Ali, I'm sorry about the argument, I'm really sorry" Jake says. She still ignores him.

"Sure, but talk to Jake, please" I say to her.

"Fine, Jake, you're an idiot" She says and walks off.

"What did you guys are argue about?" I ask, Alice is being really stubborn against Jake.

"I kinda accused her of flirting with Eli, I don't even know why, I know they wouldn't do anything" He says.

"Wow Jake, that was a good one" I say taking in what you just told me.
