(To the people who have been following this story from pretty much the start and had a notif of this chapter being posted, to clear up your confusion, please read the little note at the very start of chapter 4, it will explain everything (still laughing at myself), sorry for the confusion and thanks! This was supposed to be posted back in April, not June LOL)
RIIIINNNNNGGGGGGG
Last bell of the day. I pack my things, I've just finished PE and I definitely need a shower after my Maths session.
"Hey Addi, do you wanna hang out?" Alice asks, she's in my PE class.
"I'd love to, but I've gotta find my way to Mr Colts room, we arranged to have a Maths session to help me" I say. She forms a huge grin on her face. "What?" I ask.
"First day and already making friends with the young, attractive Maths teacher" She says. Oh, I know where she's going with this.
"Can you say that while being in a relationship?" I ask joking.
"Jake isn't here to hear it, plus I'm sure there's a lady teacher around here that he finds attractive, as long as it's not Mrs Hall-Plug, she's a you know what" She says.
"I've heard some stories about her, doesn't seem like a nice lady" I say.
"She's one to stay clear of if you can, anyway, go find Mr Colt, I'll see you later" She say, emphasising his name.
"Bye Ali" I say as I leave laughing. Well at least she has a good taste in men, Mr Colt is pretty attractive, but we have to stay professional, he's my teacher, I'm his student. I make my way around the building, trying to find Maths, I can't find it. I'm in the English corridor, I don't even know how I got here.
"Addison" I hear from behind me. I turn around and see Mr Colt walking towards me.
"I'm in the wrong place again" I say as he gets to me.
"It's ok, you'll work this place out by the end of the week, I think everyone has got lost on their first day, I did" He says.
"My friend I met this morning said he did too" I say. "Anyway is it just coincidence that you're here, were you looking for me?" I ask, that sounded weird.
"Well I went to the toilet, and now I'm going back to my room, but I suppose I was on the lookout for you on my way back, just in case" He says as we walk.
"Well, thanks" I say, about 30 seconds later we get to his room, turns out I wasn't far from it.
"Just take a seat and I'll get some worksheets that we can go over together" He says. I put my bag down by the desk opposite his and sit down, he grabs some sheets and eventually sits down next to me.
"Thanks for all this help sir, I really appreciate it" I say grateful.
"It's ok, I'm happy to help, so first I want to see how good you are with times tables, I know we said we'd go over BIDMAS but that's a little more harder, lets start with the easy stuff" He says. Multiplying by 2 up to 5 and multiplying 10 is easy, 6 to 9, 11 and 12 are harder, I can do it if I use my hands.
"This isn't so bad" I say quite pleased with myself.
"No, you're doing good" He says as he watches me work.
"Thanks" I say.
"That's a nice necklace you're wearing" He says pointing at mums necklace.
"Thanks, it has sentimental value" I say as I smile.
"How did you get on with your other classes?" He asks.
"PE was the easiest, we played dodge-ball, the other classes, were ok I guess" I say.
