(A/N: Oh boy, I just got done on typing chapter 44! And right in the middle of a huge part of this story, like I am glad that you guys aren't THAT far into this story but it's now gonna become really hard for me not to let slip of what's going to happen, like really, it's HUGE! But I hope you'll like this next chapter! God it's so hard to keep tight lipped! But I'm still writing, I'd say this story is going to have at least 50 chapters, maybe a little more than 50, I'm not sure yet because I write so much that sometimes I have to cut down a chapter into 2 chapters because I type so much.. but we'll see, it's gonna be good! Again, I hope you enjoy this chapter!! PS if you happen to come across any grammar mistakes or spelling mistakes, please feel free to highlight them, just leave a comment, I'll fix them, don't worry I won't take offence, I am generally a good speller and pretty good at my grammar, but I type so quick that sometimes I miss a mistake, so please do point them out to me and I'll fix it! Thank you ma friends :D)
I woke up slightly earlier today, I need to see Stefan. I'm making my way to his classroom hoping that he's in.
I get to his classroom and the door is unlocked but he's not here. I walk in and look around. Usually he locks the door, unless he forgot to yesterday.
"Morning" I hear behind me which makes me jump, I turn around and see it's Stefan in the doorway. "Sorry, I didn't mean to make you jump" He says as he walks in.
"Where were you?" I ask.
"Getting a coffee" He says and holds up his cup of coffee. "How are you today?" He asks as he walks to his desk and sits down and puts his coffee down so I sit on a table.
"I'm fine, a little sore but I'm good" I say. "How about you? How's your shoulder and that?" I ask.
"Well, the morphine has worn off now so I'm on pain meds which aren't as strong as morphine so my shoulder hurts a lot, my nose is probably second most painful and my hand, I had ice on it last night so it's not bad now, but oh well" He says.
"Oh right, well, we're both ok so, that's the main thing right" I say.
"Exactly, you're ok" He says.
"And you are" I say.
"The main thing for me is that you are ok, I still care about you a lot, probably more than I should" He says. That's sweet, that's what I love about him.
"I broke up with Preston last night" I tell him. He looks at me with a straight face, almost like he's seeing if I mean what I just said.
"You broke up with him?" He questions.
"Yep, it's over" I say.
"Why?" He asks.
"He doesn't spend time with me, neither of us told each other we loved each other, when I get cold he doesn't give me his coat or try and warm me up, he cares more about football than anything else, he doesn't take me on amazing dates on top of hills seeing the city with romantic songs" I say, he looks at me more and more as I speak, even more when I mention the date. "He doesn't burst into my room when I'm being attacked by a former teacher who is off the rails, he isn't protective of me, he didn't even ask if I was ok after the attack" I say.
"So, what does this mean for you, you staying single for a while?" He asks.
"I didn't finish" I say with a little chuckle.
"Oh, sorry" He says and folds his arms across his chest, giving me his full attention again.
"I know what love is now, I know what my definition is, I'm in love with you Stefan" I tell him. He looks at me for a minute, not saying a word.
