Chapter 53

(A/N: Huge apologies that this has gone up later today, I've been busy all day and only just got my laptop out about an hour ago, I had to read over this chapter again and also make sure it was the correct chapter to post, for some reason I thought we were slightly further ahead in the story, only because the next chapter will include a song, a song in which I do really like and I feel like it will fit so well with the chapter, chapter 54 that is.. my new job is going pretty well, I'm getting the jist of everything and I'm settling in, talking to people more now and having a laugh with them, which is good, still leaving me really tired as I'm only sleeping around 7hours a day, 7hours sleeping, 9.5hours working, then there's travel time and it leaves me 4hours in the day to chill out and watch TV.. but I'm still managing to update these stories when I need to which is great, a relief actually because I don't wanna let you guys down, I know you guys are really liking this story and sometimes even message me asking when the next chapter will be up and whatnot.... anyway, as always, vote and comment, you know I love reading and replying to your comments! WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE STORYLINE, UP UNTIL THIS POINT, THE WHOLE THING OF THE RELATIONSHIP BEING EXPOSED AND THEM RUNNING, HIM BEING ARRESTED, ETC, I KNOW IT WAS INTENSE AND SAD, BUT WAS IT STILL GOOD, IN THAT WAY? 15 minutes later

It's only been another 15 minutes, yet it feels like hours, we're all looking at the time every few minutes.

"Ok this is getting ridiculous, maybe they've forgotten about us" Richard complains.

"Ritchie, just chill out" Ellie scolds him.

"That's our brother in there, he almost died and now it has been 3 days since we last saw him, how long does it take to wake up?" He questions with frustration.

"We all just want to see him bro" Christian says.

"Hello everyone" A lady approaches us, I notice she glances at me.

"Is he awake now?" Glenda asks as we all jump up.

"He is, and he's asking for his family" She says. We all go to make our way to him. "Hang on, sorry, only four people at a time" She says. What?!

"Oh come on! We've been waiting for days" Dad tells her.

"And I appreciate that, I didn't make the rules, sorry" She says and looks at me again, why me?

"Ok, why don't I stay here with Mr Taylor and Addi can go with you guys" Christian says.

"No, I'll wait, you guys are literally his family, you should see him first, me and Dad can see him after" I say.

"Addi, you know that he won't be happy if you're not in there first" Ellie points out.

"Well, just tell him to get on with it, he'll see me soon" I tell them. They all look at each other and nod, reluctantly. I sit back down next to Dad and watch as they go to see him.

"You could have gone you know" Dad says.

"I know, but I'm ok to wait a little longer" I say.

Stefan's POV

I lay here staring at the ceiling while I wait. I can't believe I saw my Grandparents and Addison's Mother. I will be sure to pass on those messages, providing they believe me when I tell them I saw her.

I reach over to my table and grab my jug of water, I pour myself half a cup and drink it, taking it easy as I am in a bit of pain, even though I'm on pain medication. This water is horrible and warm.
