Emma's POV

By twelve in the afternoon, we finally recovered from the pizza party last night. James and Connor stayed in their room, while Tristan and Brad went into theirs, and Cat, Katie, and I to our own room. We all got dressed and met back in James and Connor's room.

"We're just going to go meet some other people from the tour," Tristan tells me as we all start walking down the hallway.

I suddenly freak out. I feel around my back jean pockets for my phone.

"Shoot," I say outloud as I stop walking. Tristan turns to look at me, confusion written all over his face. "I left my phone in our room," I explain.

"Oh okay." Tristan instructs me how to get to the room.

I nod my head and say "I'll try to be fast" before I run off back to our room. I open it with the key card and close it behind me.

I search the whole room twice. I finally found it in my pant pocket from yesterday. I exit the room again, the door automatically locking behind me. I walk down the hallway checking my Instagram. I smile when I see that all of the members of The Vamps have started following me.

I walk around the hotel until I find my room, checking Twitter and Instagram the whole walk over. I finally reach a large wooden door, the same one Tristan wanted me to go to. I can hear laughter on the other side so I take a deep breath and walk through the door.

I peek in to make sure I am in the right room. I look up to see all of The Vamps sitting around talking, along with Katie and Cat, to none other then One Direction themselves.

One Direction.

The group of guys that were always there for me when no one else was. They have saved my life countless times and they don't even know it. I know that probably millions of girls have told them this too, but I felt that it was different for me. It was their music, their message that they sent me, that drove me away from what I thought was right, but was actually wrong.

I look around the room to see all of them, laughing and smiling; Zayn and Louis laughing at something Brad had said; Connor and James talking to Niall and Katie; and Liam talking to Tristan. They all seemed completely at ease with eachother.

And then I see him.

Harry Styles.

My favorite member of One Direction, with his curly brown hair and emerald eyes. It was hard not to love him. His voice was the most beautiful thing I have ever heard, and I usually fall asleep listening to his voice.

He was sitting off to the side, not really involved with the other guys.

And he's staring right at me. He sees me staring at him and he smiles, his dimples showing.

I turned around and closed the door and run down the hall.

It must have been my imagination. One Direction can't possibly be in the same room as my best friends. They just can't. And they won't possibly talk to me. I'm a nobody who feels like I am unworthy to even be in their presence.

I finally stop running. I don't know where I am in the hotel but I just go to the nearest wall, and sink down so I am sitting on the floor with my face on my knees and my arms around my legs.

I try to stop the anxiety attack that seems to have come. I try to breathe deeply but I continue to freak out. They aren't here and I'm probably hallucinating. I'm already hearing voices, it wouldn't surprise me if hallucinations started. My mind is a complicated place.

I hear steps coming towards me and I look up to see Harry walking towards me.

"Well I finally found you," Harry exclaims as he crouches down to my level. I put my arms up to defend myself and my head back down to my knees, even though I know he wouldn't hurt me. I put my arms up more so that he knows not to touch me. If he touches me, then he must be real.
