Cat's POV

I slammed the door shut behind me and stomped straight to my bedroom. I sit down at my desk and rest my forehead on my hands and close my eyes.

It was a stressful day at college, I've been having those days a lot lately. I've just recently started my sophomore year at the university, and I'm in the photography major, as my adorable boyfriend inspired me to. :)

Photography major itself wouldn't be stressful since it would all be doing things I love, but unfortunately, for full credits I have to take normal classes too. Maths being the worst of all of these classes.

Eventually, I got up and walked into the kitchen and made myself a cup of tea to calm some of the tension. The doorbell rang just as my tea was cooling, but I ignored it. I wasn't in the mood for company and its probably just someone wanting to see one of my parents, who aren't home at the moment, because I don't really get visitors. But when the bell sounded again, I figured I had to answer.

"Neither of my parents are here if you're wanting to speak to one of them." I say, not even looking up as I opened the door.

"Awww man, I was really excited to see your mum! I guess I can settle for you." The familiar voice replied.

Just hearing the sound of his voice improved my mood instantly.

"You didn't tell me you were in town, Brad!" I hugged him excitedly, I haven't seen him in person in a week or so.

He lifted me off my feet a bit and spun me halfway all around before letting me go.

"I don't have to go back in the studio until next week and I knew what time you got out of class, so I came here. I couldn't not come down this weekend for our anniversary!" Brad smiled.

"Ahh, of course." I grinned, remembering our anniversary.

Saturday would mark an official 8 months Brad and I have been together; felt more like 8 minutes because I still wanted to spend so much more time with him.

Despite The Vamps becoming bigger and bigger everyday, Brad and I have been able to make our relationship work out really well. The longest we've been apart is only like a month and a half. And although that month and a half sucked and felt like a lifetime, I'm glad I'm not away from Brad for too long at a time. Part of the reason we can see each other so much even with tours is because of my passion for filming and photography, Dean and I actually have a lot in common. I guess you could say Dean has become my mentor figure, I've followed The Vamps on one tour so far where I took pictures and filmed, with Dean giving me tips along the way. But since I've started class again now, I don't think I can pick up and follow my boyfriend's band anymore.

I noticed Brad was staring at me blankly and smiling.

"What is it?" I ask him, wondering why he was staring at me.

"Nothing, I'm just really happy I can actually hug you and whatever now." Brad smiles. "I missed you so much! I haven't seen you in so long,"

"Like 9 days," I shrug.

"Exactly. Way too long." Brad moves closer and puts his hand under my chin, rubbing his thumb over my bottom lip affectionately.

I'm suddenly hit with an intense longing to just grab his face and kiss him, and I inch just a tiny bit closer. Brad gets the hint and places his hand on one of my cheeks, cradling my face as he lifts it to his own.

As the kiss gets deeper, I realize I'm pushed up against the side of my house, basically making out with a boy, outside in the open on my porch. Although there's not even any neighbors outside to watch us, I pull away.
