Tristan's POV

After Katie gave us that scare last night, we all went back to our rooms and headed to bed. Since we just had a concert, we had a free day.

I have never been one to sleep in, so I wake up at 6, even after a long night. I get ready and head down to the lobby without waking up Brad. I get some coffee at Starbucks and just decide to go on a walk.

I start wandering around the city until I come across a beautiful park. There were actually a good number of people who were there at this time in the morning. There were numerous street performers throughout the vast park but none of them I really liked. Sure it was cool to see the city life, but none of them were extremely cool.

I finish my Starbucks and throw it out. I continue walking down the winding path and it leads me to a pond. I make my way towards the bridge that goes over the pond. There are numerous people walking across the bridge and only one musician.

It's a young girl around my age with lighter brown hair and a couple dark blonde streaks. I could tell from a distance that she had beautiful tan skin. She was just the most beautiful girl I have ever seen.

I walk over to join the small crowd that surronded her. Since I am quite tall I can see the girl sitting on the ground indian style strumming her guitar and singing. Her head was a little bent over, like she was trying ignore the crowd and focus on the music. Her hair was shielding her face.

Once she stopped playing, everyone clapped including me, even though I didn't hear a lot of it. She looks up to see everyone smiling at her.

It suddenly hits me why she is so beautiful.

It's Emma.

"Um this next one is 'I Won't Give Up' by Jason Mraz," she says shyly. Everyone stays in place since they want to hear her play again. The crowd has grown a little as Emma puts her head back down, zoning the crowd out again.

When I look into your eyes

It's like watching the night sky

Or a beautiful sunrise

There's so much they hold

And just like them old stars

I see that you've come so far

To be right where you are

How old is your soul?

I won't give up on us

Even if the skies get rough

I'm giving you all my love

I'm still looking up

And when you're needing your space

to do some navigating

I'll be here patiently waiting

To see what you find

'Cause even the stars they burn

Some even fall to the earth

We've got a lot to learn

God knows we're worth it

no! i wont give up

I don't wanna be someone who walks away so easily

I'm here to stay and make the difference that I can make

Our differences they do a lot to teach us how to use the tools and gifts

We got yeah we got a lot at stake
