Emma's POV
After I left Tristan, I went back to the room to clean up a little. I sat down on the bed to watch a little news, just to get an update on what was going on.
"Tristan Evans, the drummer for The Vamps, was caught today at the park with a "friend" named Emma. But is she really a friend? Or has Tristan found someone to date?" the news reporter says.
WHAT ON EARTH DID SHE JUST SAY?!?!?!?!?!?
I immediately run out of the room to find Tristan. I immediately see Harry standing in the hallway, leaning against the wall while on his phone.
"Hey Emma!" he exclaims as he looks up from his phone.
"Hi. Um have you seen Tristan. I need to talk to him. It's like urgent," I say as I wring my wrists, an old habit for when I'm nervous or scared. I don't want people to think we are dating when we obviously aren't.
I mean it wouldn't be a bad thing to date Tristan though.
WHAT ON EARTH DID I JUST SAY?!?!?! I CAN'T DATE TRISTAN!
Harry puts his phone in his pocket and walks over to me. He puts his hands on my shoulder and stares at me straight in the eyes. I've never been good with eye contact, so I immediately try to look anywhere but his eyes. "Is this about the dating things?" Harry asks.
I slowly nod my head. "But we aren't dating," I say.
"So then there's nothing to be afraid of," Harry says as he engulfs me in a hug. "Everything's going to be alright."
Tristan's POV
I turn the corner of the hallway to see Emma hugging Harry. That sight seemed to almost break my heart. She obviously doesn't see us as more then friends, and probably never will. She belongs with someone so much better then me too.
Looking at her, I finally realize that she is probably the closest thing I will ever see to an angel. She's so pure and so full of life and love. I see no fault in her when I look into her eyes.
I also know that angels aren't meant to stay on this earth forever.
Sometimes I wish she wasn't an angel, then she wouldn't have to ever leave me.
While staring at them I also realize, I will never leave her. Not even if she leaves me. I want her to be mine, and mine only. My heart will continue to break a little bit every time I see some other man make her laugh, or smile, or give her a hug. I want to be the only one to do those things to her.
I finally come out from my thoughts and continue on down the hallway. Emma turns around and sees me. I swear I saw her eyes brighten at just the sight of me.
"Um hey. I'm guessing you saw the news..." Emma says shyly once she finally reaches me.
"Ya, that's actually what I came here to talk about," I say.
'Or maybe it was just to see your face,' I think to myself.
"Because like we aren't dating..." Emma says shyly.
That one line broke my heart even though I know that it's true.
"Uh ya," I say awkwardly. "We'll clear that up since it's not true."
"Okay," Emma says. "Well I'll see you around," she adds on as she turns to walk away.
"Ya. See you around," I reply dreamily, as I think of how much I'm falling for her.
Emma's POV
I head back to my room to grab my guitar and notebook. I grab them and head back down the hallway.
