Cat's POV
After a couple hours of looking for Emma, Katie finally walked back into our hotel room.
"Hey, what's up? where have you be-" I start to ask, but I notice Katie has tears in her eyes.
I get off the bed and stand in front of her. "What's wrong?" I ask Katie, hands resting on her shoulders comfortingly.
"It's Emma," She begins.
"What happened?! Did you find her?"
"I found her, but I wish I didn't."
"What do you mean?"
"When I ran into her, she was," Katie takes a deep breath. "She was wearing Niall's clothes, she stayed the night with him." Katie finishes.
I thought about what I overheard yesterday, Emma and Niall talking about going out, were they really going on a date? That doesn't sound right, Emma wouldn't pursue a guy she knew Katie liked.
"I'm sorry you had to find out like this," I hug Katie, I decided not to mention the date I heard about because she was already upset enough.
Katie and I then sit down on the beds in the room. I decided to just leave Katie to think instead of talk more about the situation. This has to be a misunderstanding, Emma wouldn't intentionally try to steal a guy from Katie. Emma is not the kind of person who would want to cause drama and who would do that to a friend.
My phone buzzes with a text from Connor.
Connor: Come to my room, we need to talk about something, and we can hang :).
I look over at Katie, she seems to be deep in her own thoughts. Should I leave her alone and go hang out with Connor or stay and be here for her?
"Katie," I say.
"Yes?" She asks.
"Would you rather be alone right now?" I offer
"I don't want to force you out of your own hotel room." She says.
"No, it's fine. I have stuff I can be doing." I assure her, grabbing a room key and my phone. I send Connor a quick text saying that I'm coming.
"I know you're upset now, but I really hope you and Emma can work this out," I tell Katie before walking out the door. "And if you need anything don't hesitate to text me, I'll help you with whatever you need right now." I smile and Katie nods in response.
I then walk down the hall and knock on Connor's door.
"Hey!" Connor greets me with a quick hug, opening the door.
"Hi! What's up?" I ask.
"Nothing much. Brad, Tristan, and James all went out so...I was just kind of bored." Connor laughs.
"They all just went somewhere and didn't invite you?" I chuckle.
"Not together, they all went different places, but I don't even know where." Connor shrugs.
"I'm glad you're so good at knowing where your bandmates are." I say sarcastically.
"I don't need to know where they are, that's not my problem." Connor laughs.
"I guess that true," I chuckle. "You said you wanted to talk about something...?" I question.
"Right, that." Connor smiles slightly mischievously, which worries me. I've learned it's usually not good when these boys are up to something.
"You can come in for that," Connor opens the door wider.
"Okay..." I say quickly, what is he up to? I sit down on one of the empty beds and Connor comes and sits next to me.
