Kaiya landed roughly then barely dodged her shoulder gaining a gash as she dodged. She turned and growled at the twins. Kazuhiko and Kazuhiro cocked their heads. “Now why does that face look so familiar brother?” Kazuhiro asked. Kazuhiko narrowed his eyes. “Oh that’s right the lead woman of the Yamazaki clan had that look. It must mean this girl is a Yamazaki. How in the world did we miss her?” Kazuhiko said. Kazuhiro looked at him and they began an idle chatter while Kaiya was getting pissed. “That’s right!” Kaiya yelled up at them making them have to look down and acknowledge her. “I am Kaiya Yamazaki the sole Yamazaki left!” Kaiya had drawn her sword. Her spiritual pressure intensified. Her hair flew up a bit by the breeze. “Now I will get revenge for my clan.” Kaiya said jumping up and attacking while yelling, “Save the world and steal the show! Hoshiko!” (For her zanpakuto appearance refer to ch.47 Assignment and What Is Going On) “Orchid star dance!” from nowhere purple blazing stars streaked across and sprouted flowers as she swung and then the twins tried to dodge. But one was to slow. Her attack cut directly through Kazuhiko. “BIG BROTHER!” Kazuhiro yelled flying down to his dead brother’s corpse.

Kaiya landed on a roof. “Now it is time for you to die also…” Kaiya trailed off   seeing how his spiritual pressure was increasing. He picked up his brothers sword and pressed it against his own. Then he ran both of them through his very core. “WHAT THE-“Kaiya was cut off as then a new being stood he was taller than Kumomura in height and was thicker and more built then Kenpachi Zaraki. His sword was as big as Ichigo’s if not even larger. Kaiya was not staring at this. Her body was feeling the intense spiritual pressure and malice behind the being that stood before her back turned. She was trembling. Then her hands clenched on the blade. “Kaiya…it was those dreaded Ran twins that decimated your clan. Now you are the sole Yamazaki. If they return you must kill them.” The words rang in her head. Seeing these two now. How they have merged their souls into one horrible monstrous being. I understand now Mistress. I understand. These Ran clan members that are evil must die. The figure turned. It had a giant scar running down its front. Kaiya hissed at seeing its face. The scar separated two different faces, like two sides of a mask glued and stitched crudely together. One side was dark blue with sharp pointed and jagged teeth and an evil glowing black eye. The left and other side had a pale blue face with a blinded eye and the mouth had loose stiches so it could talk.

 “Now we are one. Now Yamazaki clan dies.” The chilling voice said the mouth moving. Kaiya bared her teeth, “If I were Yumichika Asegawa of squad 11 I’d close my eyes because you are so ugly. But for my clan I must defeat you no matter what the cause.” Kaiya spat then she literally spat. The monster looked at her. “What even name do you have monster.” Kaiya said. “Kazu.” The monster said. Then Kaiya sighed and closed her eyes deep in thought. A mistake she always made. The big blade rained down on her. She backed up and only received a shallow blow. She spun and kicked the monster in the face her blood going everywhere. “This shall be harder than I anticipated.” She said noticing the spiritual pressure surrounding Kazu had deflected her blow. Then she stood up from where she crouched and stood up. She ran full force screaming, “Poison cloud!” as an eerie green mist swirled around her blade she brought it down. The blade could not pierce the monster as she knew but still the poison gas entered its lungs making it cough. She skidded back after it punched her in the gut. She panted holding her stomach. She was losing blood. And fast.

Kimi and Akira glared down at Aiko who only coldly looked up at them. “So my blood kin shows her face.” Aiko said. Akira gritted her teeth. Kimi was confused. She looked at Akira in question. Akira breathed. “That is not Aiko Ran in blood that is Aiko Hiruma. My supposed to be dead elder cousin.” She said in a low voice. Kimi looked at her shock. “My mother told me to always go after Aiko Ran.” She added softly. Kimi looked at her and nodded silently. They both had their swords drawn. “I was adopted into the Ukitake clan. It was Aiko Ran who killed my real parents.” Kimi admitted. Akira looked at her startled then nodded. “We kill her together then.” She said. Kimi nodded. “Are you two done talking and lying that you will kill me? If you haven’t noticed your dear friend is fighting my brothers though from the feel of it she killed one of them and forced them into monster mode. The forgotten mode of the Ran clan.” “Kaiya can handle it.” Kimi said. Akira nodded. “Kazu is strong. She’ll die. Just like you will if you continue to get in my way.” Aiko said. Akira tightened her grasp on Saika and Kiyohime. Then she breathed and shared a look with Kimi who nodded. “Now, cold icy wind billow across the blazing sky! Saika no Kiyohime!” Akira yelled then Kimi added, “Streak across the sky Najika!” her sword changed too. (For reference same as Kaiya’s). “Now Ice and Flame dragon twin barrage!” “Streak blazing orange!” an ice and flame dragon released from Saika no Kiyohime and it was shortly followed by the orange energy of Najika.

Aiko had underestimated them. She paid for it dearly by injuring her self for not being able to dodge the quick attack. Half of her was nothing more than burnt flesh and waterfalls of blood. She glared with her only good eye at where the women once stood then felt their blades bite into her back. Stumbling Aiko barely got out of the way before she was cut into six pieces. She growled and began to glow gold. Akira and Kimi backed up, “the Ran clan hates soul reapers so much we ate our own zanpakutos Kazu separates into my twin brothers who wield half of his conscious. I swallowed mine bit by bit as she screamed. Now die!” she grew fur and her head turned more wolfish. Then she was a golden wolf woman with green accents on her face and flowing blue hair. Akira and Kimi winced. “How could you betray your zanpakuto like that?” Akira snapped angered. Mistress calm down.  Kiyohime her long sword said.  Yeah cool it flower girl. Saika thought.

 Mistress Akira is angry Najika said. Kimi nodded seeing her friend bear her teeth. Mistress you are holding me a little too tight. Najika said. Kimi looked down and loosened her grip on her poor sword. “What do we do Akira?” Kimi said in a whisper. “I say we-“but before either could talk strategy they heard, “no no no.” then they felt claws dig into their back. Akira screamed while Kimi bit down on her lip. Together they fell, the deep wounds in their back painful. Then Akira righted herself and helped Kimi land. The two stood standing against one another holding each other up. They were panting. Aiko growled. “So stubborn.” She said.

Kaiya discovered direct attacks on Kazu’s body like her lunar beam and orchid, rose, and lotus shredder were easily deflected by his immense spiritual pressure. But the things small or hot got through like poison gas or hell star blaze. Still Kazu was letting on a relentless attack that would certainly kill her at this rate. Then he slammed her down into a building where she was hidden for a while.

Aiko was purposely not allowing them to stop and recover with barrage attacks one after another and she seemed never to tire. Then Kimi and Akira were separated. They fell to the ground. Akira in a pond sinking to the bottom and Kimi in a tree.  

Then Aiko and Kazu spoke in completely different places at the same time. “You’re through.” Then three beams of strong spirit energy shot up ward shocking both Ran clan members. Akira stood up in the now drained pond. Kimi stood in the leafless tree. Kaiya was in the air. They all panted then in unison they said, “We have a little secret. For so long we’ve never had to use these but here we go…” then their three voices could be heard…”BANKAI!”
