Ishi had somewhat recovered one Temari and Keiichi took turns healing her arm. Finally she and Hizume were both released. Along with Aichi. But for his safety they have him and a nurse in one of the seritei safe havens. Ishi and Hizume were currently kicking what ass they could. Ishi’s gloves had repaired to an extent. Her ice fragments were little smaller than she had hoped they would be but she was fine fighting with a smaller weapon. Hizume’s whip was missing a few jewels but she made up for that but killing three enemies with one blow of “Hot Crack.” It was similar to the one she used on Mamoru only the whip was so hot it also injured 6 other Shattered Shinigami. Hizume was still a little sore from her C-section but no longer having to worry for Aichi in her belly made her feel better. She kept a closer eye on Ishi still. Ishi couldn’t do too much. She was due in about a week or two. Hizume and Ishi kept fighting though.

Ishi kept some ice armor over her skin to protect her child. For some reason though it kept melting. Hizume and she noticed that if a soul reaper and broken soul reaper had a child it came out with potential of a high soul reaper. So maybe he’s a fire type. Ishi thought a small smile on her lips as she stabbed another enemy. It’d be pretty funny. Hizume and she were fighting back to back in perfect sync like even before they met Toshiro and Renji. Back when they were still young and being thrown around from squad to squad. Mako was getting stronger and his plans were starting to take effect. But so many injured soul reapers swore they would fight even if they were hurt. To preserve the well-rested and battle ready units they were will to sacrifice their life although they were told they didn’t have to do it.

Ishi had used ice patch on the injuries to help ease the pain and strain they would suffer against the enemy. The warriors were appreciating it. That’s when they heard laughter. They stopped resting and congratulating when she appeared. Riding on a floating rose that the thorny vines wrapped around her. Hizume and Ishi didn’t recognize her but Keiichi did. “Yuri.” He said. That’s when they got it. Yuri was the one who Mako had betray Keiichi. Yuri laughed. Her long pink hair flowed down, dangling in the air like a water fall. It almost touched the ground from 70 feet about the ground. Her golden eyes glinted. “Keiichi-kun. Why are you fighting with such weaklings? They’re pathetic. Come back to me and I can give you so much more and you’d be on the winning side. After all Mako is getting ready.” Yuri said. Kiyone growled, “He doesn’t need you or Mako. And he is on the winning side!” Kiyone said. Yuri’s gaze cut to the small brunette. “I don’t think you matter in our love affairs. So be silent.” Then before Keiichi or anyone could react four of Yuri’s thorn whips cracked against Kiyone making her cry out. “Kiyone!” Keiichi said running towards her.

Yuri cut him off with a thorn vine. “Where do you think you’re going?” She hissed. Keiichi cut through the vine his gauntlet cutting through with ease as he hurried to Kiyone. Yuri was simmering in anger. Keiichi gently lifted up the injured Kiyone. “Get someone over here!” he yelled a squad four member hurried and began to heal her. Yuri let out a screech. She began to attack the area where Kiyone and Keiichi lay, but Ishi threw up a barrier of ice. Being blocked did not help Yuri’s horrible mood. She turned on Ishi and attacked her. Hizume blocked though with a jewel barrier. Ishi’s ice assisted by bonding the jewels together. But there was no way her ice alone could’ve stopped that rash attack. Keiichi then turned on Yuri and jumped up attack her while she was still trying to kill Ishi. He knocked her off her weapon. Once contact was broken the rose began to fall. It eventually crashed while Yuri was dodging Keiichi’s attacks. “I’ll kill you if you dare hurt my friends!” Keiichi said his attack just missing her. Yuri hissed and spat as she ran to her rose. “I’ll get you next time!” she yelled.

Jumping onto the rose she disappeared taking her large weapon with her. Keiichi growled.  Then he returned to Kiyone’s side ready to help. Ishi and Hizume dropped the barrier. “Phew that was a strong attack.” Ishi said. Hizume nodded. “But it’s a good thing you blocked it. If you hadn’t she might’ve killed Keiichi, Kiyone, and the squad 4 member. But it wore you down huh?” Hizume said noticing Ishi was panting. Ishi nodded. “We’ll we won this time. I’m scared to see next time though.” Hizume said. Then she helped Ishi as the soul reapers pulled out.

When Yuri was upset no one was happy. She was throwing tantrum after tantrum and to be honest it was getting on Mako’s nerves. “How dare she! How dare she!” Then Yuri was silenced as Mako burned her tongue to a crisp. Yuri screamed. “No quit talking. You’re just a bishop. Expendable.” Mako said walking out of the room. Yuri was crying as Akemi hurried to her sister. “You know not to mess with him.” Akemi said as she healed her mouth. But there was no way Yuri would ever speak again. That’s what happens when you get on Mako’s wrong side.
