Perfection For Us (Bleach Story) Ch. 39 Last Days With Zanpakuto

Ishi and Hizume had been roused from their fitful sleeping way too early for their tastes. But the instant they walked into the meeting hall and were tackled by their zanpakuto spirits their moods lightened. “Kori!” Ishi squealed embracing the zanpakuto tightly making said zanpakuto struggle against the tightness that constricted her lungs. After a few seconds Ishi realized this and released her zanpakuto. Hizume was hugging and spinning with Houseki no Joo. Then Ishi and Hizume finally looked around and they saw the cutest pair of twin boys. I don’t mean as in they would dump Renji and Toshiro for them but as in adorable cute. They each grabbed one. “Awwwww! They look so sweet!” Hizume said. Ishi herself had a weak spot for cute kids. “I agree they are a adawable!” She cooed. The boys giggled happy to have the attention of people. “I see you and my zanpakuto are on good terms.” Ukitake said. Hizume smiled, “who wouldn’t be with such an adawable little boys?” she said. Ishi nodded enthusiastically. Finally they released Sogyo no Kotowari.

 Then they looked around at the other zanpakutos after their little adorable twin boy freak out. Ishi noticed that Kori stood beside a Senbonzakura. “Well Bya-baka even our zanpakuto are close.” Ishi said. Kori nodded. Then Senbonzaukra asked, “How did you know who I was?”. Ishi grinned like an idiot. “Because your spiritual pressure is like when he was younger….now let’s see that face!” Ishi said pouncing him. The others except for the serious few got a laugh out of this. Ishi lost because like master like blade Kori tripped Ishi in one of her charges. Ishi spat out dirt from the floor while another round of laughter went about. Then a tiny fairy sized spirit flew next to Hizume making Hizume react like she would’ve thinking that Suzumebachi was Mariposa. Her blade just missed the zanpakuto spirit. “Ah! No no no! That is Suzumebachi not Mariposa Hizu-chan!” Houseki no Joo cried. Hizume blinked and laughed strained and embarrassed. “Sorry Suzumebachi.” She apologized. That’s when Suzumebachi whispered, “When are you going to get Soifon a boyfriend? She needs one!” Hizume smiled with a twinkle in her eye. “Hehehe. VERY soon. And I mean VERY.” Then she giggled. Ishi caught on and had a smirk on her face. The others were confused. And thus the issue with the other rouge zanpakuto spirits began.

 Ishi was currently riding on Toshiro’s back because she sprained her ankle in a fight and it HURT a lot trying to do flash step which she would’ve done had he not forced her to ride on his back. They paused by a river. Then Hizume said, “Ishi look!” Ishi gazed at the area of the shallow water Hizume gestured to. She smiled. There was a small baby turtle. She crawled over to her and picked the turtle up. Ishi held it out to Hizume who took it into her cupped palms. Toshiro and Renji were confused so Ishi explained. “A few years ago me and Hizume were by a river one day looking for fish to eat. We stumbled upon a stranded little turtle. We ventured day and night looking for the little turtle’s mother. We found her eventually. Ever since then we love turtles.” Hizume nodded. “So do you like turtles more than dogs?” Renji asked. Hizume handed the turtle over to Ishi who was showing him to Toshiro. “No I just really really REALLY like turtles.” Hizume giggled. Toshiro was looking over Ishi’s shoulder at the turtle. “He’s not that young we should just release him back.” Ishi said lowering her hands but Toshiro stopped her. She looked up at him confused.

“There are rapids down that way. Let’s travel past them then let him go.” Toshiro said. Ishi nodded. Through this all their zanpakutos were watching with interested eyes for the problems were coming to the end. Soon they would really leave these forms. So together the eight of them traveled with the turtle. To make things funnier they made Hyorinmaru carry the male turtle. Hyorinmaru was glaring at it while walking. Once he even walked into a tree. Kori had to pull him by his kimono the right way so he wouldn’t do the same thing twice. Houseki no Joo and Zabimaru were laughing and cracking jokes with one another. Then they got passed the rapids that would’ve certainly killed the poor turtle. Hizume and Ishi let him off together. They waved bye to the turtle. Hyorinmaru used Kori’s hair as a napkin which led to him getting a beating from the smaller female zanpakuto’s hands lovingly of course and a lot more gentle than she usually would. Then the zanpakuto’s felt they were about to go. Toshiro and Renji kept their good-byes short and semi-sweet. Ishi, Hizume, Kori, and Houseki no Joo were all hugging each other as the two female zanpakuto began to fade.

 “Master-sama we’ve had so much fun together….i wish it could’ve lasted a little longer.” Kori said. “We’ll always be together.” Ishi choked out. “Hizu-chan I’m going to miss training with you and shopping with you!” Houseki no Joo cried. Hizume laughed a little, “I’ll walk around with you manifested if you want! We’ll be together forever!” Hizume managed. Then the two female soul reapers precious zanpakuto disappeared. Ishi and Hizume smiled at Renji and Toshiro who smiled back. Ishi demanded a piggy back ride back to Toshiro’s office which Toshiro obliged to. Hizume and Renji walked side by side hand in hand back to Hizume’s office. Their spin with the zanpakuto was great and fun. I’ll let you just imagine all the fun stuff that happened.

Ishi trained and teased Senbonzaukra, played with Sogyo no Kotowari, and hung out with the other zanpakuto. Hizume told Suzumebachi all about her plan to get Byakuya and Soifon together, then she would also play with Sogyo no Kotowari, and she even spent time with Heiniko and Rangiku with Tobiume and Momo. So their fun was great even with the work. Though Ishi and Hizume longed for it to have been longer their relationships with their swords were even stronger now than before.
