Perfection For Us (Bleach Story) Ch.6 Hizume & Renji Meeting

Hizume was shocked to hear from Rangiku about how she found Ishi and Toshiro asleep in his office and it looked like they had worked all through the night. Hizume herself had been trying to track down the elusive lieutenant she wished to talk to. Sighing she thought about it. They had only 6, counting today, days until Mariposa and Montanoso. What if they had to use THAT and after they just got back to it would be heart breaking. Becoming determined she vowed to make sure they would not have to use that technique. Then she spotted the red haired lieutenant she had been hunting for. “Lieutenant Abarai!” she called out. Renji turned at the sound of the voice. Hizume ran up to him. “Can we talk?” Hizume said a little nervous. Ishi was normally the one to talk to new people but she knew better than to interrupt Ishi if she was in the middle of something. “Yes.” Renji said. Then Hizume said, “Let’s walk and talk.” Renji nodded. “I wanted to see if you were alright. You haven’t experienced anymore headaches right?” Hizume inquired. “Just the ones Ichigo gives me” Renji said. Hizume chuckled a bit. “I know how you feel even though I and Ishi are best friends she can still get on my nerves a lot.” She said. Renji blushed a bit at how pretty she looked. “Can you explain to me how that bridge thing worked exactly?” Renji asked. Hizume nodded. “But can we go somewhere else to talk about it I know a really comfy place nearby.” Hizume said. Renji nodded and followed the blue haired female before him.

 Then they were t a small pond that had beautiful fish in it. There was a little island in the center that you could use stepping stone rocks to get to that had a cherry blossom tree on it. Hizume made her way onto the island. Renji was a little clumsy on the stones but he made. Hizume took of her sandals and socks and put her feet in the cool water. Renji sat down beside her. “So the bridge works quiet simple actually. We needed to link our spiritual pressure with someone here so we let our zanpakuto’s guide us to anyone. And they chose you and Captain Hitsuguya. Why? We don’t know. Then we used kido to build a linkage chain. Then finally when you two were in danger because we made it apparent we knew what we were doing then Mariposa and Montanoso would attack you two. When they did it would give us the final point focusing out energy we tore open holes back here.” Hizume said like it was nothing. Renji was in awe. “Well I couldn’t do that. I suck at kido.” He said. Hizume looked at him “that I figured. Well that and Byakuya and I talked. Your fight with him came up. I think it was very cool how you fought him.” Hizume said smiling. Her violet eyes sparkled in the sunlight. Renji found himself looking away with a blush. “Is everything alright Lieutenant?” she asked calmly. Renji nodded, “yeah why wouldn’t it be?” he stated. Hizume rolled her eyes. “Any way what’s your zanpakuto’s name? I’ve been wondering that.” Hizume asked. “Zabimaru.” Renji said glad to be on a much more comfortable subject. “Snake tail hmmm?” Hizume said using its meaning. “Well yours means “jewel princess” and how can that be that scary?” Renji asked slightly offended. “It turns into a whip of a thousand hair thick strands each coated in fragments of jewels. I can make them fly off and enter my enemy poisoning them or I can issue the “grow” command and it they grow larger for they can shrink to cell size or grow to building size. Then she’s also coated in poison.” Hizume said rambling on about how dangerous her zanpakuto could be. “I think she’s the form of my stress and such so she’s kind of temperamental. And childish.” Hizume finalized. Renji’s eyes were as large as saucers. “Oh and that’s just alone. Mine and Ishi’s shikais together are so scary hollows have tried to escape from us. And our bankais are scary to. Mine is really scary then because I get A LOT more jewels. Shiro Houseki no Joo. Yeah it can be scary to fight us.” Hizume said. Renji gave a strained laugh. “Remind me to never ever fight you.” He said.

 Hizume nodded with a small smirk. “Any way did you hear about Captain Hitsuguya and Ishi? Rumor has it they worked together all night.” Renji said. “She would do that.” Hizume said. “What??” Renji asked confused. “Ishi’s the type of person to help people out and still talk they probably got so caught up in work and talking they fell asleep.” Hizume shrugged. “I figured she’d left after me and the others got caught listening to them and all.” Renji said. “Caught?” it was Hizume’s turn to question. “Yeah we were kind of listening in on their conversation and we got caught in the process.” Renji said a little sheepish. “Ah. You probably mad her mad.” Then Hizume yawned. “Did you not get enough sleep last night?” Renji asked. “I only got a little I was looking around for you.” Hizume said. “Oh…..sorry.” Renji said. Hizume waved her hands like she was waving the apology off. “It’s alright. Do you need anything else? If not I’m going to go take a nap.” Hizume said. “Eh…just one thing.” Renji said. “What is it?” Hizume said pulling her feet out of the water and drying them. “When do you think those two arrancar will attack?” “Probably the day before they’re back up to strength trying to trick us into thinking that they are. Either that or tomorrow.” Hizume said pulling on her socks and sandals. “Is that all lieutenant?” she asked. “Yeah. And you can just call me Renji.” He said. Hizume blushed a tad and nodded. “Alright then good bye Renji.” “Bye Hizume.” Hizume jumped across the pond real fast and easy.

 “Oh ho ho seems like someone is crushing on someone.” Came an oh so familiar and oh so annoying voice. “What do you want Ichigo?” he groaned. “I was just looking for ya and then I find you and Hizume talking sitting real close. Oh wait till I tell Rangiku this.” He said laughing like a maniac then running of. Renji jumped up. “Don’t you dare Ichigo!!!!!” he yelled chasing after the orange haired boy. Hizume stopped by squad 10’s office first. She silently peeked inside. Rangiku, Toshiro, and Ishi were working. Well Toshiro and Ishi were working, Rangiku was asleep. She smiled a bit then went to her temporary quarters in squad 1. Changing and stretching she curled up under the blankets. She smiled a bit then hummed herself to sleep thinking about the red headed lieutenant.
