Perfection For Us (Bleach Story) Ch.48 Poor Haku

Kyoa was startled as from nowhere the beaten up form of Haku flew in front of her. Then Ishi appeared and growled, “So annoying…” Kyoa had a sweat drop. “Um Ishi what happened to...ehehehehe….Haku?” Kyoa stuttered out. Ishi looked at her and the fiery aura and evilness was replaced by normal Ishi. “Oh me and Toshiro passed out on the couch and he has to make a big deal out of it.” Was Ishi’s response as she then turned and said, “you might want to make sure he’s alive I barely held back.” Kyoa nodded at Ishi’s back then she scampered off to find a groaning Haku on the ground. He looked worse than Byakuya after Hizume got ahold of him for fighting with Soifon!

Kyoa couldn’t believe this! How dare he do such a thing! People sensing her bad mood moved out of her way for fear of that bad moon being taken out on them. Though she heard the sounds of someone getting beat up in Byakuya’s office already. Then an angry HIZUME stormed out. Kyoa took once glance in the room and backed away. “I think he’s’ suffered enough…” she said shaking her head as she informed Renji to contact squad four.

Kyoa sighed as she crouched next to Haku whose two eyes were swollen shut. She had way of treating all these injuries. So she picked him up as gently as possible. At first he shrunk back, most likely thinking it was Ishi for round two, but then realized it was Kyoa and relaxed a bit. Kyoa got him to squad four quickly. Where he was urgently treated for the amount of wounds Ishi had left him with.

Ishi sighed as she walked in a kimono white with pale flower blossoms adorning it with a golden bodice/obi (I have no idea what they are called). Her hair had been fixed. She walked into a chamber. “Ishi Mai. Meet your fiancée.” The man upfront said pointing to a boy. Ishi froze. She had been told this COULD happen. She backed away as her “fiancée” walked towards her. “What’s the matter Mai? I’ve been waiting to meet and marry you for so long.” The boy said. Ishi turned and ran with people shouting after her. “I can’t marry him I could never marry him! Toshiro is too important to me!” she was ranting as she ran with tears forming. It was her brother’s death wish but she didn’t want to. There was no way her brother could’ve predict the life she lived. Then she ran into a hollow who laughed thinking her just a girl.

 Ishi ran right into its trap not noticing until it was too late. The boy she was supposed to marry Yuuta heard her rant and felt bad. But he was not a soul reaper. He ran off to find this Toshiro. The only one he knew of was Toshiro Hitsuguya captain of squad 10. That could work. Along the way he met a man bearing a badge with the same emblem as the one Ishi carried to prove she was indeed a soul reaper. He stopped the man. “Do you know Ishi Mai?” he blurted. “My captain?! Have you seen her? Her spiritual pressure has disappeared.” The man asked. Yuuta stuttered, “She was taken captive by a hollow….” He said. Then Hisagi moved past him in pursuit of his captain no way was he going to let he let her die!

Haku awoke later his eyes were less swollen due to treatment but he was still very beat up. Kyoa was in a chair next to him reading a book. “Captain?” he rasped out then coughed. Kyoa’s head snapped up and then she stood and ordered for someone to do something then a few seconds later she was back with a water bottle which she helped him drink a little of. He coughed. “I pissed off Ishi as you most likely know.” He laughed but winced his ribs weren’t broken but the bruises on his chest were quite painful. “Do you want any pain killers?” Kyoa asked. Haku shook his head. “Pain killers and I don’t go to well. It would kill me to take some, literally.” Haku replied. He and Ishi both had rapid healing from their genes. “Oh…sorry I didn’t know. Does Ishi have the same problem?” Kyoa asked. “She wished. She just hates pain killers they make her really loopy no telling what will come out of her mouth.” Haku responded wanting to grin but his split lip would open up again if he did.

 Kyoa laughed a bit just imagining what would come out of her mouth. Then she remembered that Hizume was in recovery too. Some hollows got out of hand turned out there were an arrancar. She’s alive but still on bed rest leaving Izuru, Momo, and Hisagi to do all of the paperwork. Or so Kyoa thinks. Like before no one else knows about Ishi’s problem. Kyoa found herself growing fonder of Haku with each time she met him. Haku found himself liking her since the first time Ishi mentioned her. “Well I had best go Momo is probably about to be swimming in paperwork.” Kyoa said remembering opening the door to squad 9 once and Hisagi along with a wave of paperwork poured out. She giggled a bit as she stood. “I check by later.” She said. Haku nodded and waved with his good hand a little, well not exactly GOOD but not that bad.
