Perfection For Us (Bleach Story) Ch. 45 Kyoa's Life As A Soul Reaper Begins

Kyoa sighed as she walked through the sertei. It was getting harder and harder to get used to her new life. Momo had been sick recently so she was of no help. Ishi and Hizume both were busy themselves so Kyoa was on her own except for Arumafuroru. She had been training hard with him on mastering her skills as a soul reaper. She again sighed as the dull ache in the back of her head roared back to life. She had been feeling like she had forgotten something for a few days, but when she tried to think about it only a dull ache would come back. Then as it dawned on her she fell do her knees. Kiyome. Kiyome had DIED back there. That was right the kido had worn thin from her excessive pondering on the thought and it broke. Hizume had done that to hide it from Kyoa. Kiyome. Kyoa had been too late to save Kiyome before Asesino did part of the ritual. She had interrupted the final part. She felt weak and sick. Then she felt a warm pair of arms but the shock drove her into a state up painful unconsciousness.

Kyoa awoke a few hours later in an unfamiliar room. She sat bolt right up and looked around then her head throbbed. “You shouldn’t move around too much. The kido was meant to seal away. You’ll be in pain for a few days but it should dull.” A slightly familiar voice said. Kyoa slowly looked to her left at the door way it was Kumomura. The wolf captain. Kyoa blinked. “I guess I owe you one Captain Kumomura. I thank you for your assistance.” She sighed. “I did nothing but have Captain Unohana look at you. Another member of my squad brought you to me.” Kumomura stated. Kyoa looked confused. “Who? Who is this mystery squad member?” Kyoa asked. “I think his name is Haku Kobayashi. One of Ishi’s cousins if I’m right.” Kumomura responded after a moment to ponder. Kyoa lied back down. “If it is alright with you I would like to rest a bit more. I shall leave soon though I promise.” She sighed. “Take as much time as you need.” Kumomura said softly noticing Kyoa slowly beginning to drift off already. He shut the door quietly as not to rouse the sleeping woman.

Kyoa had to move slightly slower than usual because of the pain in the crevices of her mind, but in the end she was on Haku Kobayashi’s trail. She stopped to rest a bit when a warm finger tapped her shoulder. She jumped then clutched her throbbing head. “I’m sorry captain. I guess I should’ve approached more up front.” A male voice said. Kyoa turned to see a boy there.

He had a pale brown ascot tied around his throat. His hair was spikey and looked just like Ishi’ only the spikes were skyward and shorter. (Hair coloring is the same. BTW: Haku and Ishi are the only Mai clan left, for now). His eyes also were not brown but bright jungle leaf green. His sleeves were torn off and his nails were painted in a pattern of black-green with it starting on the thumb then going in the other direction with the thumbs being black. He had some golden wristlets around his left wrist, three to be exact, with one having a ruby, another  emerald, and the final a sapphire. On his right wrist was a cuff of metal extending from his wrist to his elbow with a scene of a cherry blossom tree on it with a dragon twirled throughout its branches. His sword had black everything. A pale black hilt, a medium black moon shaped guard, and the second darkest black as its sheath. Like his cousin Haku stuck out. “I’m Haku Mai/Kobayashi. Me and Ishi are related through my mother, my mother haven been her aunt. I go with my father’s last name though. Sadly it’s just the two of us. I heard you were looking from me by some gossiping squad 10 members.” Haku said sticking out his hand. Kyoa blinked a bit shocked at what was before her. He was about 6’5 with toned arms and sharp as new knives features with female eye lashes though, with the lashes being long slender and curving. Kyoa stared at his hand. Haku frowned and said again, “I’m Haku Kobayashi. I heard you had been looking for me.”

Me: finally a decent cliffhanger.

K: our dear author has been dying to type this arc up.

Me: yes you read correctly, ARC these next few episodes will be about Haku and Kyoa and a problem for Ishi and Toshiro, but that won’t be as important.

K: then it’s followed by an arc just for the Ran clan (Hizume)

Me: well we sure are nearing the time skip.

K: AUTHOR!

Me: oops. Sorry folks.

K: *puff of air* well we hope you enjoy the next few arcs before the time skip. Seeing as the author has ruined it.

Me: it’s not FEW arcs. We’re only in chapter 45! This will end with 100 chapters! So we still have a lot of episodes plus an extra chapter. Then a suquel, if this gets good reception.

K:  AUTHOR!

Me: oops.
