All kinds of rumors were going around about Ishi and Toshiro along with new ones about Hizume and Renji. Ishi didn’t really care and continued on helping out Toshiro by doing Rangiku’s paperwork. Hizume still chatted with Renji. If only Toshiro could get close enough to realize whenever Ishi looked at him her temperature spikes up. They had three days before they were out of time. Hizume and Ishi were both helping out with paperwork in Toshiro’s office when both girls stopped. Ishi jumped up and moved Toshiro out of the way just as the window shattered. Landing roughly Ishi landed on top of him in an attempt to block him from the glass. It worked except for a small scratch on the silver haired boy’s hand. But like this he could feel her temperature and it was spiked up a lot. She got off of him. “Hizu! We gotta go Mariposa and Montanoso are here.” Ishi said like they were going to greet lovers or something as a joke. Hizume grinned a little and stood up. They gripped their swords and jumped out of the broken window. Mariposa and Montanoso were wreaking havoc on the soul society. “OOOHHHH MARIPOSA I’M OVER HERE!” Hizume called out mockingly. “MONTANOSO YA BIG LUG I’M RIGHT HERE JERK FACE!!!” Ishi taunted also. Mariposa sped right towards Hizume and Montanoso slammed his fist down on Ishi. Ishi moved out of the way. She and Hizume stood side by side with Ishi on the left and Hizume on the right. “We will end this today!” Hizume said. “I couldn’t agree more!” Mariposa shrieked. On both sides they drew their swords and were immdeadtly sword fighting.

On the ground the captains were forced to watch as the kido corps kept barriers around the sertei where many of the citizens were being housed. Oddly enough they saw cruel smiles on their two allies’ faces. “It looks like they’re having fun.” Kurosutchi stated the obvious. “They probably are. They both like to fight.” Yoruichi said. There were constant bursts of spiritual pressure. Then Ishi was knocked right through the barrier. Hizume followed. Ishi landed at Hitsuguya’s feet and Hizume landed at Renji’s feet. Sitting up with some blood coming from her mouth Ishi chuckled then she began to laugh. She stood up roughly her leg was broken. She slammed the bone back into place roughly. “Come on body last me a little longer.” She said as she began to heal the bone. Apparently thinking it satisfactory she looked at Toshiro. She took off her scarf. “I think I should tell you why I quit being a captain.” She said unwinding the fabric. Then she tugged it off. On her neck was a scar. The captain’s all looked at her. “My own best friend, his name was Junichiro, tried to kill me. Here Captain Hitsuguya can you hold onto this for me.” She said folding the scarf then holding it out. “I don’t want it to get damaged.” She said. Toshiro looked at her then the scarf. He took it in his hands lightly. “I’ll give it back when you win.” He said. Ishi grinned. “Glad to see you have faith in me sir.” She said turning then jumping up back through the hole made. Then using her own power she repaired the hole.

Hizume stood up roughly. She then took down her hair. Some blood escaped from the gash in her chest. She turned and held the chopstick out to Renji. “Ishi made this for me. Can you hold onto to it until I come back, if I live.” Renji snatched it. “I’ll give it back to you when you come back. But you’ll owe me a story.” He said. Hizume blinked and giggled. Then she turned and followed suit what her best friend did. After repairing and strengthening the whole barrier she looked where Ishi had been waiting on her. “So you finally show up huh?” Ishi teased. “And you finally revealed your scar.” Hizume retorted back. “Hey this is just one of them remember my other?” Ishi said. Hizume nodded. Then they shared a look. “Together we stand” Hizume started their forever chant. “Together we fall” Ishi continued. “Together we win” “and together we lose” then together they finished. “Together we will always be!” then together they called out their release commands. “Shred and Shine Houseki no Joo!” “Freeze Kori!”
