My Fake Wedding (Nami)

Finally, it's time for the teacher's relay..

Nakita ko si Yamato kasama ang mga ibang guro sa relay team...

"Give 'em hell...Mr.Kougami! hiyaw ng isang estudyante..

"Hoy, wag ka nga tumayo diyan... Hindi ko makita si Mr.Kougami! sabi naman ng isang estudyante.

(Mas sikat  pa siya sa mga artista kesa sa inaakala ko...)

(He really is a popular teacher...)

"Ready, set, go! " hudyat ng referee.

Bang!

Nagsimula ng tumakbo lahat ng mga kalahok.

Ang team ni Yamato ay nasa 5th place out of six.... Ibig sabihin.. 2nd to the last...

(There are still people left to run. Makakahabol pa sila..)

Pero ang second runner, then the 3rd each fall further behind.

By the time Yamato's gets the baton, nasa last place sila .

"Mr.Kougami's running!  hiyaw ng isang estudyante.

"But he's pretty back there, ha..." anas naman ng isa pang estudyante.

Ang team ni Yamato ay nasa last...

Kahit gaano pa kabilis si Yamato, hindi siya makakaabot sa 5th place...

(....Oh..   Nalagpasan niya ang isa...)

(And that one too.... It could be anyone's game now...)

Yamato passes his 3rd runner, still going strong.

I find myself cheering loudly for him.... At wala akong paki alam kung sino nakakakita sa akin.

"Come on, Yamato..!!!" sigaw kO.

Nag iimagine lang siguro ako, pero parang bumilis siya...

"Holy cow, just one more to go!" sigaw ng mga estudyante.

"Ah! But they're so close to the finish line..." sabi ng isa pang estudyante.

Right when it was sure the last teacher would cross the line....

Yamato dashes ahead, passes him  and takes the gold!

"Oh my Goooooood.....!!!!! " hiyaw ng mga babaeng estudyante.

Hindi lang mga estudyante kundi pati na rin ang mga parents and faculty ang nagsimulang mag cheer.

Pagkatapos maisuot ang gold medal sa leeg niya.. Yamato starts scanning the grounds.

(Yamato...  What are you looking for...?)

"Nami!" nahanap ako ni Yamato at daling lumapit sa akin...

At, tinanggal ang medal mula sa leeg nito, at hinawakan.

"See.... The medal..... just like I promised... It's yours now! "

Yamato places the medal around my neck.

I return Yamato's nonchalant grin with a satisfied smile in my own..

"Nagawa mo..!  Nakuha mo ang 1st place..." puri ko dito.

"I keep my promises..." sagot nito.

As we smile at one another, ilan sa mga estudyante ang natutuwang nagbubulungan.
