"And you are all set," Jason says handing me my bag since I already had my phone in hand

"Thank you so much for all your help," I say giving him a polite smile and starting to walk away making sure to grab Beth from a chair since she was not really paying attention

"Thank gosh," Beth says laughing "Can we go shopping?" She asks and I nod why not?

"Sure but can we get food first?" I ask tapping my watch to check my sugar and it is getting low. "And I'm buying" I add heading towards the food court

"Yes we can get food and no you are not buying." She says taking my phone from my hand "You might want to put a password on this" She adds

"Yeah maybe" I shrug "What sounds good?" I ask looking around the slightly disappointing food court there just are not a lot of options

"Do you just want to get a pretzel or something light now then go somewhere for lunch?" Beth asks looking up from my phone "Can I see your finger? To unlock this" she asks I stick my hand out to do whatever she wants, I think she is just downloading Tinder and honestly, I don't care she can do whatever and just because I have Tinder on my phone does not mean I actually have to use it.

"That works for me," I tell her as we walk towards Auntie Anne's

"How can I help you sexy ladies?" the very young-looking guy says from behind the counter I roll my eyes and instantly get annoyed

"Can I get a small blue raspberry lemonade, cinnamon sugar pretzel nuggets, and a thing of icing?" I say "Plus whatever she is getting" I add pointing to Beth who looks up from my phone

"I'll have the same thing as her" Beth says before going back to my phone. Now I'm curious about what she is doing because I do not think it is just Tinder. I hand the guy behind a twenty-dollar bill since the total is less than that. He gets our food and drinks quickly than we find a table to sit down and eat

"What are you doing on my phone?" I ask

"Tinder. Then um reading this message" Beth tells me then slides me my phone I look down and see a LONG message from Colin.

"What the hell?" I mumble out loud as I start reading by the end I am both laughing and crying. He is sitting here trying to say that we just had a fight and that he wants me back. "Is he serious?" I ask Beth just shrugs

"I don't know. Do you want to go?" Beth asks and I nod

"Yes please, if you don't mind"

"Of course. Come on" She says standing up. I end up throwing out most of my pretzel nuggets keeping the lemonade and icing. We walk to the car quickly before I start freaking out. I can not believe him.

"What the fuck?" I ask as we sit in the car with the heat basically blasting

"He is a piece of shit. What did you expect?" Beth asks "Sorry that's mean but.... Kinda true" I just sigh and reply to Colin

"This is just. Not how I expected things to go" I admit

"I know. But now you can find something better. I mean you're only a second year in college you have a lot of time to find a great guy. And now you can start having fun! You don't have to go home every weekend to sit alone and do nothing, you can go out with us and make friends." Beth tells me "Want to head back to the apartment?" she asks

"Yes please," I say reading the next message from Colin. "And I know it is just, I did love him. It is hard to think that it is over just like that." I tell her while figuring out what to say back to him. I am trying to explain to him why it's over and he just is not getting it.
