When we all went back to class for the last portion of the day, all the girls glared at Mineta, but were greeted to a bruised face and dribbling mouth.
"I was so close..." he whimpered. Keeping my promise to the girls, I secretly created a small fiery hand and smacked him when the teacher wasn't looking. He glanced up at me, his hand clutching his already bruised cheek, his eyes filling with tears.
"Pervert," I mumbled angrily, with the girls glaring at him from behind me.
"Midoriya! Help me!" yelped Mineta, running away from us. I smirked victorious as the girls giggled behind me.
"Thanks, Homura!" they said, rubbing my hair and back in joy. I smiled warming at them, letting out a couple giggles as they messed up my hair. Through the group, I caught a glimpse of Bakugou, his eyes almost like daggers into Mineta's head. I'd ask him about it later. Oh yeah, I'm going on a date with him today. I'll have to tell Shouto I'm not coming home until later. As the girls left, I found Shouto sitting at his desk.
"Shouto, I'm going out after school, so go home without me," I said, and as I was about to go away, he spoke up.
"Where you going?" he asked. I opened my mouth but closed it immediately. I couldn't tell him I was seeing Bakugou, so I quickly thought of something.
"Um, I'm seeing Yaoyorozu later at the mall," I said, internally hoping he wouldn't ask further. Thankfully, he didn't. He nodded and glanced at the time.
"Don't be late for dinner," he said. I smiled and sat at my desk, letting out a small sigh of relief. When the school day ended, I took my time packing up so Shouto could leave the room. When he did, I finished tidying up, and stood up, only to be greeted with the usual angery face.
"We still going out?" he grunted. I sighed at his way of speaking, but smiled.
"Yes," I said, putting my bag over my shoulder. Bakugou smirked slightly and turned his blushing face to the side.
"Good," he said softly, and held out his hand for me to take. As we walked out of the school, we were talking until Mineta's pervy face came to mind.
"Oh, by the way, what happened to Mineta in the changing room?" I asked, curious of what had happened and if Bakugou had any part in it. His face instantly switched to a rotten one, his fist rising as he set off small explosions.
"That fucking pervert trying to catch an eyeful of you," he growled. I install regretted changing his mood and pushed his arm down.
"Ah, don't get angry now, dumbass, but thank you," I said, placing a soft peck on his tense cheeks. He grunted once more before his face relaxed.
"Your brother tried to get in the way, too," he said pouting. I smiled at his behaviour but because it was rare for Shouto to do something like that. Probably because Mineta was the only pervert we had to deal with. As the conversation went on, we discussed on what we wanted to do together.
"What about the mall?" I said, then caught a glimpse of his bored look, "I'm guessing you don't like that." I sighed until I heard him groan.
"I'm hungry," he said, and lifted his head into the air, his chin sticking up.
"Do you want to go to a spicy food restaurant? I know that's something you like," I said.
"I don't have any money," he mumbled, scratching the back of his neck. I pulled out my purse from my bag.
"So? I have some, don't worry, now, where is one-" I started, but got cut off when he shoved my purse back in my bag. I blinked and looked at his moody face. "Okay.. why?" I said, raising an eyebrow at him. He growled at me, and starting pulling me down the street.
"You're not paying for anymore meals," he mumbled, his hand sliding into mine. He stomped next to me.
"So, how are we going to eat?" I asked, and I saw a single drop of sweat run down his head. He stayed silent for a while as his jaw tensed and more sweat appeared on his face.
"Y-you can come... to m-mine..." he stuttered, almost like he was forcing the words out of his mouth. My eyes widened slightly. H-his house? What would be there? Would I go to his room? Would his... parents be there? I began to get nervous, wondering what would happen, and silently started fixing my hair, just in case. However, Bakugou looked more nervous than I did, even if he was trying to hide it as much as he could. His hand was slightly tighter around mine, and I could feel him shaking a little, and his face looked extremely tense. We walked together, both of us internally panicking. We came to a stop at a large house, the design looking really modern. There was a nice garden with neatly cut bushes and well groomed grass. I admired the design.
"You live here?" I said, almost laughing that something so clean and perfected could hold Bakugou in its walls.
"What's that supposed to mean?" he growled, probably catching my thoughts.
"Nothing," I said, calming myself and brought my attention back to his humble house, "I like this place. It feels... welcoming." I breathed. I could see Bakugou's eyes widen slightly and his cheeks redden a little. He turned his attention back to his door and let go on my hand to find his keys. He opened the door, gestured me inside and we both came in through the doorway.
"I'm home," yelled Bakugou, being his loud self.
"Do you have any homework?!" yelled a woman from somewhere in the house.
"That's none of your business, hag!" yelled Bakugou. My eyes widened at his insults to this woman, probably his mother. I slapped his arm lightly, but he took no notice of this. He was too busy taking off his shoes, putting on slippers and shoving some to me, and settling into his house. I felt too nervous to do anything, so I put my hands around the bands of my bag, and held my arms in front of my body.
"It is my business, idiot! I'm the one who keeps telling you to do it when you're being a lazy slob all day!" yelled the woman, and I heard loud footsteps coming our way. If this woman is anything like her son, then I would suddenly understand where Bakugou gets his loud attitude from. "Plus, stop calling me hag, dumbass! I'm the woman who gave you life, so you better kiss my-" before she finished her sentence, the woman came into the hallway and her eyes fell on me. "Oh, hello," her face, at first looking angry, turned into a sweet and reassuring one, her eyes almost sparkling, "I see we have a guest. What's your name, dear?" Her voice felt so soothing to hear.
"My name is Homura Todoroki," I said politely, and bowed down, "Thank you for letting me into your home." There was silence, and I slowly leaned back up. The woman stared at me, almost in shock. I didn't know what to do. Bakugou hand then held mine. His hand felt hot and sweat and his face couldn't have been more tense.
"She's m-my g-girlfriend," he stuttered, almost scared to speak. The woman's eyes widened more, and she looked almost frozen on the spot. Without warning, her face was inches from mine.
"My name is Mitsuki Bakugou, but please, call me Mitsuki!" she said, her face full of excitement. She took both of my hands, making me drop my bag. "I'm so happy you're able to handle this son on mine! Even I have trouble handling him!"
"Huh?! Shut up, old hag!" yelled Bakugou, but Mitsuki ignored him. She put her arm around my shoulder and pulled me away from him.
"So, tell me everything! How did you two meet? Actually, let me make you something to eat, then we'll talk! Katsuki!" she yelled, looking behind her. Bakugou's face was twitching as he stared at his mother in anger and embarrassment. "Take this gorgeous girl to your room and make her feel at home!" She then turned to me and gave me a warm smile. "I'll make one of my special dishes. I only make it on special occasions, and this is definitely one of them!" She gently ruffled my hair and lightly pinched my cheek before pushing Bakugou to me and leaving us alone. I ran my fingers over my cheek, and it felt so warm. Even though she was almost the same as her son, she had such a joyful personality and a warm sense of being.
"Your mother's really sweet," I said, my voice above a whisper.
"Tch, she's annoying," tutted Bakugou. I raised an eyebrow at him.
"You shouldn't treat her like that," I said, and turned away from him, "she's worth much more than you think." Saying that, my own warm mother's face came into my head. Her soft smile was something I missed, and I wanted to see it more often. Bakugou was silent, examining my face, then looked at the stairs near the door.
"Come," he said, and pulled my hand up the stairs. We made our way to his room. As he opened it, I saw the inside of his room for the first time. He had a double bed that was pressed in the far corner of the room, that had black covers. The walls were black, too, with several posters of All Might and other heroes and designs. He had a low desk in the middle of his room on the floor, covered in books. Near the small table, stood a small tv with some wires and controllers in front of it. He had his own punching bag in one corner and several weights scattered all over the room. He had his wardrobe near his bed, with a small nightstand next to his bed. He had a large window behind his bed, almost like mine. The room felt dark but comfortable to be in. Bakugou walked inside and threw his bag with mine to the foot of his bed. He closed the door and turned to me.
"Well, she'll probably take an hour to make some food, so what do you wanna do?" he grunted, his hands stuffed in his pockets. He still had an embarrassed blush on his cheeks and I could still see his eyes twitching a little. I looked around the room again. My eyes fell on the tv and the consoles, and wondered over there. Kneeling down, I picked up a pile of games he had and started reading the titles. I could feel Bakugou step behind me and watch what I was doing from over my head. I saw a game I was interested in, and pulled it from the pile, holding up to him.
"Let me guess, you've got the top score?" I asked, smirking. He grinned and put his hands on his waist.
"Duh, I'm the best at video games," he boasted. I raised an eyebrow and put the game in the console, throwing him a controller and sat cross legged on the ground.
"Huh? We'll see about that," I mumbled, my eyes glued and focused on the screen. I heard Bakugou chuckle and sit next to me in the same position. For that hour, we spent it playing that game, screaming at each other and the screen.
"Die!" screamed Bakugou, smashing his fingers into the controller. Quickly reacting, my fingers danced over the controller, dodging his attack and killing his character in the progress. His mouth hung open as he stared at his dead character. I put the controller down and crossed my arms and looked at him with cocky eyes.
"Funny that you stated your own fate," I chuckled.
"You were meant to die!" yelled Bakugou.
"But I didn't, did I?" I said, grinning.
"Hmm, I let you win," huffed Bakugou.
"Isn't it strange you say that every time I beat you?" I said, still teasing him, but I didn't hear an answer. Instead, his strong hands pinned my wrists to the floor. His face hovered over mine, his usual angry look staring back at me.
"I'll crush you," he growled, sticking his teeth out. I felt his warm body drawing closer to mine. His waist was sandwiched between my legs, but I didn't care.
"You are right now," I said, feeling his chest touch mine. He smirked and closed the distance in both bodies and lips. Our eyes instantly closed and we felt each other's heartbeats against our chests. Our lips danced together until I felt a wet muscle brush against my lip. The sudden movement made me part my lips as I tried to gasp, but Bakugou took this as an opportunity to slide his tongue into my mouth. The sensation felt new but exciting. Our tongues swirled against each other, feeling the mouths they had never explored before. Bakugou began to draw away, and I opened my eyes to see his hair in my face and a wet tongue run down my neck. My eyes widened and my cheeks burned as this new sensation was exploring my neck. His tongue drew circles around certain areas of it, occasionally grazing his teeth against my skin. At one point, his tongue reached near my collarbone, making me gasp and reach my hand to run my fingers through his hair. I felt him smirk against my skin. Without warning, I felt his lips wrap around that section of my neck and start sucking and nibbling on it. I felt my toes curl as I tilted my head back a little, almost pushing my neck towards him. Bakugou's arm wrapped around my back to pull my body closer to him. I closed my eyes and focused on that section of my neck. I could feel his teeth bite down on it, and his tongue lick my skin.
"Food's done, guys!" yelled Mitsuki from downstairs, causing us both to freeze. Bakugou's lips slowly left my neck, but his hair stayed where it was. I let out slow, deep breathes, trying to calm myself down. I kept my fingers entangled in his soft hair, running it through a few times. Eventually, Bakugou brought his face up to me. His cheeks were as red as mine, and his lips were parted, letting out hot air as he breathed heavily. He stared at me with gentle eyes. Eventually, he smiled gently at me. He pecked my lips quickly, and stood up, and held out his hand. As I took it, he pulled me closer to his face, bringing his mouth to my ear. "Don't think this is over," he whispered in a low voice. My heartbeat raced faster than it currently was as I watched this mad man stroll to his bedroom door with the usual stomps and hands stuffed in his pockets. He opened the door and glanced back at my blushing face. "You coming?" he asked, his eyebrow raising. Blinking myself out of my embarrassed thoughts, I walked towards the door.
"Eh, y-yeah," I stuttered, brushing past him and fixing my hair. I heard him smirk and bring his face closer to my ear again as we walked downstairs.
"You might wanna hide your neck if you don't wanna get a million questions from that hag," smirked Bakugou. My eyes widened as I glared angrily at the grinning Bakugou behind me. Embarrassed, I quickly brushed my hair to the front of my shoulders, just in time as we entered the dining room.
"Ah, there's my two lovebirds," beamed Mitsuki, then turned to a man, I'm guessing Bakugou's father. "See? I told you she was adorable!" she said, almost shaking the man's arm. He smiled warming and stood up.
"I'm Masaru Bakugou, but please, call me Masaru. Very pleased to meet you, Homura," he said. I bowed politely, but he gently pulled my shoulder up. "Oh, there's no need for that. As my wife insisted, you're one of us now," he said, smiling warmly. My eyes widened slightly in surprise and looked at the family. Masaru had the kindest look about him, and he never seemed like the type of person to raise his voice. Mitsuki was smiling joyfully at me, like I was a work of art, her arm wrapped around Bakugou's. Even though Bakugou glared at his mother, he glanced at me and smiled warmly at me. Even though the mother and son shouted at each other, probably everyday, there was so much love in this family. I could sense it from the moment I stepped foot in the house. Bakugou was so lucky to have come from a family like this, and if they began to treat me like that, I could never repay them. I smiled joyfully, slight tears appearing in my eyes.
"Thank you... so much," I breathed, closing my eyes and letting a small tear stream down my cheek.
"Come on, dear," said Mitsuki, wrapping her hand around mine, "let's eat and let's talk about you." She sat me down next to Bakugou and his father. I looked down at the food. It was still steaming hot, but I knew it wouldn't bother me. I picked up my chopsticks, thanked her for the meal, and picked up a stick of meat, and quickly put it in my mouth. "Oh, careful dear, it's hot!" said Mitsuki, her eyes widening in shock, as well as Masaru's. Bakugou, however, smirked at me.
"She won't care," he mumbled, almost like he was proud of me. Still with the chopsticks in my mouth, I blinked in confusion at the couple.  Mitsuki stared at me for a while before speaking.
"This dish is one of Bakugou's favourites. I only cook it on a special occasion. It's meat, covered with hot spices, in a hot sauce with vegetables sprinkled with spices," she said, her eyes still wide. I smiled at her.
"It's really good. I love it," I said, taking another bite. Mitsuki's mouth hung open, then raised an eyebrow.
"If you don't mind me asking, Homura, what's your Quirk?" she said, curiosity circling her voice.
"Oh," I said, putting down my chopsticks, and raising my left hand, setting off a small flame, "it's called Firebending. I can manipulate the fire element in any way that I want. I inherited it from my... father," I said, my voice trailing off, and my hand lowered.
"Your father?" asked Masaru, but his eyes widened, "you mean Endeavor?!" he said, and Mitsuki's hands gripped the table.
"Are you his daughter?!" she asked, her voice rising. I nodded my head. Bakugou's noticed and glared at his parents. They noticed and calmed down a little, well, Mitsuki was still excited.
"If you don't like talking about him, that's fine. I'm sure many people only know you from him," she said. I felt my head drop a little, but she kept talking. "But I'm going to know you as the girl who fell for my idiot son," she said, smiling warmly at me, then turned to her husband, "right, sweetie?" Masaru nodded and smiled at me. I heard Bakugou growl in offence at them, but didn't say anything.
"I'm sure one day you'll even be more powerful than him, even though you inherited his Quirk. Many things can go past it's limits and still turn out amazing. I'm sure you're one of those things." My heart shifted in its place as my head rose to meet their warm eyes. This family was even better than I pictured. I felt at home here, even though I've been here for a couple hours. Again, tears welled up in my eyes as my bottom lip began to quiver. Forcing a smile through my tears, tears fell down my face.
"You two are so kind. I forgot people like you existed," I said, my voice shaking. Even though I never said things like that out loud, it blurted it out. Their eyes widened, even Bakugou's. The room was silent for a while until Mitsuki stood up and wrapped her arms around me. She kept silent, slowly rubbing her hands behind my back.
"There are people who don't know an amazing person like you, so we're the lucky ones. Just don't let anyone bring you down, okay?" she said, her voice almost soothing in my ear. She leaned back and looked at the two males. "Right, guys?" she said, and the both of them instantly stood up and huddled around me. Their embrace kept me safe and secure, what a real family should always feel like. Feeling the tears still streaming down my face, I wrapped my arms around them, taking in their embrace. As we parted, Mitsuki's thumbs ran over my cheeks and pulled my chin up gently. She smiled down at me. She then glared at Bakugou. "If you lose her, you're dead," she growled, making Bakugou stiffen up a bit. I giggled at this and sat back down to eat their food. The whole time, Mitsuki asked me a bunch of questions about my Quirk, our class, how me and Bakugou met, and even when she was going to expect grandchildren.
"Shut up, you old hag!" screamed Bakugou, his face as red as a tomato.
"I'm preparing myself so I know when I can start buying gifts for then!" yelled Mitsuki, then turned back to my nervous smile. "So when will I? Oh, wait, do you know how to-"
"Alright, we're leaving!" yelled Bakugou, grabbing my arm as he dragged me away from the table. He ran upstairs and grabbed my bag, throwing it at me just as Mitsuki and Masaru joined us.
"Oi, don't be rude, you idiot!" she yelled at him, then turned to me. "He's embarrassed, don't worry!" She wrapped her arms around me. "I hope we can see you again!" She pulled away, and I gave her a warm smile.
"You will. Thank you for the food, I really liked it," I said as Bakugou grabbed my arm and pulled me towards the door. Masaru put his arm around his wife as she leaned on his shoulder and put her finger on her chin, admiring us.
"They're a great couple, don't you think?" she whispered, to which Masaru nodded and smiled. He squeezed her shoulder and raised his other arm to wave at me.
"Till next time, Homura," he said, and I waved back. As me and Bakugou left the doorway, the pair stared at us leave.
"Homura," said Mitsuki, making me glance behind me, "you might wanna hide that mark properly before you go home," she said, smirking. My eyes widened as my cheeks burst with redness. Bakugou growled and spun me around to keep me walking forward.
"Tch, always an embarrassment," he grumbled. I lightly slapped his arm, smiling.
"I love your parents," I mumbled. His eyes widened but he wrapped his arm around my shoulder and pulled me close.
"They love you, too," he mumbled, slightly smiling as he said it. He walked me home, talking, well, shouting all the way. We talked all the way to my street until I stopped him.
"I told my brother that I was with Momo so he can't see you," I said, putting my hand on his chest.
"Tch, lying for me, huh?" she smirked, slowly wrapping his arms around my waist and pulling me closer.
"Shut up," I said, softly smiling. I looked up at his angry but gentle eyes as they drew closer. His lips then fell on mine, sharing a passionate kiss. Like always, our lips moved in sync and melted into each other's. Parting for air, I brought my hands up to his cheeks, admiring his crimson eyes. "I'm gonna go and hide this stupid mark you left on me. Get home safe," I said, running my hands down his arms as I left his side.
"I told you, that ain't over," he smirked before turning around, shoving his hands in his pockets and walking away. As I walked home, brushing my hair to cover my mark, embarrassing thoughts filled my head. Please don't tell me Bakugou and his mother are thinking the same thing.
