"That's enough, Class A!" yelled a deep voice. I looked down and saw the pro hero Vlad King walk into the building with his class, "today, Class B is scheduled to use this place in the afternoon." The others began to talk, but being so high up, I couldn't hear much on what they were saying. I did however hear the basics. "The hero licensing exam takes place each June and September in three different locations across the country at the same time," Vlad King continued, "in order to avoid students from the same school fighting each other, all schools subscribe to the theory of splitting up their students by time or location."
"In addition, there are very few first years in the country trying to get their provisional licenses," Aizawa added, "in other words, the test will have those who've trained longer than you, with Quirks you don't know about that they've polished up until now. The actual contents of the exam are unclear, but what is clear is that you all will have a hard time. It's not good to get too hung up about it, but keep that in mind."
"Yes, sir!" we yelled.
With that, we were told to leave so Class B could have Gym Gamma. I saw Ectoplasm disappear and I floated down to the ground where I met Shouto.
"How did you do that?" he asked. I shrugged.
"I realised I wasn't using my Quirk how it should be used, and that I was only using dad's words to work it, and I just got frustrated and it just happened," I said. He stared at me blankly.
"Great explanation," he sighed. I scowled.
"I don't know how to explain it!" I said, frowning. He chuckled a little and put his arm around me.
"It's fine. What matters is that you did it. You might want to practise more, though," he suggested. I nodded and looked at my palm.
"I thought so. That was only my first attempt and I didn't expect it to go smoothly," I said. He smiled and we walked back to the dorm, having been dismissed by Aizawa for the day. For the rest of the day, the majority took this opportunity to catch up on school work or relax a little. Some of us continued to work out on our own, though not using our Quirks. When nightfall came, all the girls dressed in comfortable clothing and gathered in our common room. I wore a baggy black vest with one of Shouto's shorts I may have stolen from him. Mina let out a huge and long sigh.
"We're working so hard every day..." she groaned, her head fallen back onto the sofa where Kyoka sat with her.
"It's not called 'intensive training' for nothing, huh?" breathed Toru, sat on another sofa with Tsu and Ochacho.
"Even so, there's less than a week left before the provisional licensing exam," said Momo, sitting on an extra seat by Toru. I sat opposite the girls on an armchair that was closest to Momo.
"Yao-Momo, how's your ultimate move coming?" Toru asked. She sighed and put her head in her hand.
"There's something I want to do, but my body can't keep up yet, so I need to develop my Quirk a little more first," she breathed.
"Homura, was the one that you did one of your ultimate moves?" Toru asked excitedly. I thought for a minute.
"I haven't perfected it yet, and that was poorly done without thinking to control it properly, but I hope to consider it to be a move," I explained.
"What about you, Tsu?" Toru asked.
"I've perfected a move even more frog-like than before," smiled Tsu, "I'm sure even you'll be surprised, Toru."
"What about you, Ochacho?" said Toru, but Ochaco didn't say anything. Me and Momo glanced at each other worriedly. She was staring off into space.
"Ochacho?" said Tsu, tapping her shoulder. She let out a surprised yell, her cheeks pink with fright.
"Huh?" she exclaimed.
"You seem tired," said Tsu.
"Oh, no, I'm not tired at all," stuttered Ochacho, "I'm just getting started!" We all stared at her blankly, wondering what she was talking about. "At least, that's how it's supposed to be, but, how do I put it...? Recently, my heart's been feeling all stirred up..." My eyes widened but I tried to hold back a smile while Ochacho's face turned pink in embarrassment.
"It's love!" Mina screamed.
"Wh...what? Glove? Shove? Dove?" Ochacho stuttered, "I don't know what you're talking about!"
"Is it Midoriya, or Iida? You're always with them, aren't you?" Mina squealed.
"No, no, that's not it!" Ochacho screamed, and put both of her hands on her face. She started to float around the room, denying anything we said. I smirked as I watched her from my armchair.
"Who is it? Which one? Who is it?" yelled Toru, shifting in her seat with excitement.
"Spit it out. You'll get a lighter sentence if you confess," smirked Kyoka.
"That's not it, really!" squealed Ochacho, still floating around the room, "I really don't know anything about that stuff..."
"Homura knows! Homura, is she in love?" Mina yelled, turning her attention to me. I smirked up at Ochacho.
"Definitely. It's only a matter of time before it comes out of you," I grinned.
"It's not good to force an investigation, you know," Tsu mentioned.
"That's right," said Momo, standing from her seat, "more importantly, we have an early start tomorrow, so we should turn in."
"What? No way! I want to hear more!" yelled Mina, pouting like a child, "even if we don't talk about anything important, I want to force it to be about romance!" The girls chuckled at her remark, letting Ochacho continue to float around the room.
"If Ochacho won't talk, then make Homura talk!" squealed Toru. I froze up. I immediately got up.
"Eh, you know, Momo is right, we should go to bed," I said, frantically sweating. Mina and Toru let out evil chuckles.
"Oh, no, you don't," they breathed. I clenched my teeth in panic. Before I could do anything, Kyoka's Earphone Jack wrapped around me. I was trapped. Mina and Toru came up to my face.
"We want to hear the details of anything that's happened recently with you and Bakugou," said Mina, her evil eyes beaming down on me. I tried to move my head back away from her.
"Eh...um..." I stuttered, trying to think of something to say.
"Do you guys go on many dates?" giggled Toru.
"Um... sometimes, but-" I stared.
"Have you met his parents?" grinned Kyoka.
"Well...yes, but-"
"So you've been to his house?!" screamed Mina
"Uh! Yes.. but only-"
"Ah! Wait..." started Mina then gave me an evil grin, "did something... happen there?" I tensed up, controlled frozen. I had to get up. I began to wriggle in Kyoka's trap.
"She didn't deny it!" screamed Toru.
"Really?! No way!" screamed Kyoka, her face turning bright red. I grinned. She's lost her guard. I can escape. I wriggled free, and began running down the corridor.
"She's escaping! We need to hear more!" screamed Mina and Toru. I heard their steps right behind me. I panicked. It was way too embarrassing to let them hear. They now knew! I had to avoid anything further than this conversation. I ran through the girl's corridors, hearing the giggling girls calling my name. It wasn't until later until I was in the boy's section of the dorms. I could easily hide somewhere. I sprinted through the staircases and made it a random floor. I could ask one of these guys to let me camp for a moment as the girls past by. They were probably a floor below me. I scanned the doors as I ran, but stopped at a particular floor. I pounded on the door, making sure no one else could hear me. I luckily heard footsteps from the other side of the door. The door flew open, greeted by a very pissed off face.
"Who the fuck-" screamed Bakugou, but stopped when he saw me. Without a word, I pushed him into his room, closing and locking the door. I pressed my ear onto the door, hearing the girls close by. "What the hell are you doing?" Bakugou said, but I pressed a finger to his lips. I heard the girls on the other side of the door.
"Where is she? I just wanted to know the details!" I heard Mina whine.
"Do you think she went back to her room?" Toru said.
"We should see if she went there!" Mina evilly giggled. I heard them run back to our side of the dorm. I sighed, partly in relief but in defeat. I couldn't go back to my room now.
"You still haven't answered me," Bakugou said, taking away my finger from his lips. I sighed again.
"So... the girls were chasing me because they wanted to know about-" but I stopped. My face immediately went red. Bakugou raised an eyebrow.
"Know what?" he asked.
"N-Nothing!" I said, looking away in embarrassment.
"Whatever. Go back to your room! I'm trying to sleep!" grumbled Bakugou, heading back to his bed. I panicked. I couldn't go back. For all I knew, they were waiting outside my room for me to come back. I heard rustling as Bakugou fell back into bed, pulling the covers over himself. It was now that I could got a good look at Bakugou's dorm. It was pretty much the same as his actual room, but I noticed a small picture of him and his parents. I smiled. I knew he had a heart towards them, even though he didn't act like it. I looked over at Bakugou, stirring to get comfortable. I noticed he had his double bed from his house. I glanced back at the door, then back at his bed. I gathered up the courage and started to silently walk to his bed. I slowly slithered under the covers, making Bakugou turn over. "What are you doing?!" he said in a hearse whisper. I blushed in embarrassment.
"I can't go back to my room with the girls there. I'd rather now speak to them tonight. So... I thought..." I couldn't bring myself to finish. My pulse was faster than ever. "It's okay. I understand. I'll just find a way around them." I started to get up but felt a hand lock around my wrist.
"It's... fine," mumbled Bakugou. I smiled and slid back into his bed. I made sure to stay on the other side of the bed, not making contact with him. I bet he liked his space when in his own bed. I lay staring at the ceiling, trying to sleep. I glanced over at Bakugou and saw his back to me. I kind of felt like he was in a bad mood, considering what he saw today. I shifted to my side, so our backs were facing each other. Thinking about it, I wished I was wearing something a little warmer. Despite using a fire Quirk, I felt a little cold. I began to shiver slightly, but didn't want to pull much of the covers onto me. I felt disrespectful for having to do that to Bakugou, as this was his room I was disrupting. I closed my eyes, trying to calm my nerves down. It wasn't until a few minutes when I felt the covers pile onto me. I was surprised. I went to see what was happened, but was stopped by an arm wrapping around my waist. My eyes widened in disbelief. I could feel Bakugou's back pressed passionately against mine, transferring his body heat to me. I could feel his pulse quicken, but he kept still, making sure I was warm. A huge smile rose on my face. This felt so comforting, and I oddly wanted this to be reason why I fall asleep quickly. I wanted more. I gathered more courage, and although my heartbeat was going crazy, I turned around. Bakugou stirred once again, lifting his arm, thinking I was uncomfortable, but instead, I turned to put my arm around his waist, pressing my front against his front. I felt Bakugou tense up, but quickly love the feeling, and wrap his arm around my back, pulling me closer into his chest. I smiled harder. I had a small feeling that he was smiling, too. I suddenly felt his lips lightly press against my forehead. I buried my head further in his head, for the warmth and from a sudden feeling of shyness. I could easily get used to doing this, if he let me. This was definitely a way to get me to fall asleep quickly, and it worked well, as it knocked out me and Bakugou for the night, still wrapped in our own warmth.
