"Shouto! Have you seen my hairbrush?" I yelled from upstairs.
"It's in the bathroom!" Shouto yelled from downstairs. I quickly ran into the bathroom and found my hairbrush, along with some hair ties and extra shampoo. I sighed in relief and ran downstairs. Shouto greeted me as he calmly packed his suitcase.
"Found it," I said breathlessly, shoving them into my bag. Shouto sighed.
"Do you have to be some clumsy when we're packing?" he asked. I groaned in annoyance.
"Oi, I'm just making sure I haven't left anything behind," I whined, forcefully closing my suitcase in a huff. I stomped to the front door, starting to put on my shoes.
"Aren't you forgetting your sports shoes?" said Shouto, raising his eyebrow. I groaned in disgust and spotted the shoes I was meaning to take. I shoved them into my bag, and finished getting ready. I started counting on my fingers to make sure I had everything, but everything seemed in order.
"Right! Let's go!" I said, stepping out of the door with Shouto, hardly containing my excitement. Shouto still looked boring and normal, but I could slightly see him hiding a small smile. We soon walked through the grand gates of UA, and made our way to the coaches near the entrance. We greeted everyone there, and I soon found Bakugou. I found myself blushing hard when I saw him, as did he.
"Hello," I said, my voice soft and calm, yet a little nervous.
"Yo," he said roughly but sweetly. His crossed arms opened, and he tried his hardest to keep a constant lock on my eyes. I smiled and knew what he wanted. I made my way towards him and embraced his warm waist, burying myself into his hard chest. His arms wrapped around me, one hand running through my hair. I felt his heart beat as fast as mine. These were the moments I liked about him. Maybe more.
"Alright, everyone's here. Gather round," announced Aizawa, making me and Bakugou part, but he left his strong arm around my waist. "UA High has finished its first semester and started summer vacation," continued Aizawa as soon as everyone was in a group near him, "however, those of you trying to be heroes will not receive days of rest. At this summer training camp, we'll have you aiming for even greater heights: for Plus Ultra!"
"Yes, Sir!" we yelled, joy in each of their voices. Bakugou turned to me.
"Tch, this week will be a piece of cake," he scoffed. I raised an eyebrow in a sarcastic way.
"Oh, really? You're not going to cry after one day?" I chuckled, my voice with high amounts of teasing in it. I heard Kirishima laughing.
"I wouldn't be surprised if he did," he laughed, standing next to me with his arms crossed. I heard Shouto chuckle quietly close by. Bakugou's face turned to pure anger.
"Huh?! I've never cried in my life!" he yelled, as if steam was coming out of his ears. Kirishima and I burst out laughing, Shouto chuckling a little at this little tease. Ochacho then rushed past us, her face bright red.
"I-It's time for training camp!" she announced, "Training Camp! Training Camp!" she started chanting with Mina and Kaminari joining her. I smiled at how excited they were before we were interrupted by a voice I didn't really recognise.
"What? There are people in Class A taking extra classes? Does this mean you had people who failed the finals? What? Isn't that weird? Isn't that weird? Even though they're supposed to be way better than Class B? How can that be?" I turned and saw a blond boy from Class B who I remembered from the Sports Festival, but he was immediately hit in the head by an orange-haired girl.
"Sorry!" she smiled, and dragged the blond guy away from us.
"Oh, it's Class B," said Midoriya. We all saw the group with different, interesting faces. I remembered most of them from the Sports Festival, too.
"Class A's bus is this way!" yelled Iida, dramatically waving his arms around, "Line up in seat order!" We kind of ignored his orders and lined up wherever we wanted, Bakugou pulling me next to him. We boarded the bus, with Bakugou leading me to the back of the bus, away from everyone else. Once the bus started moving, everyone was already loud with chatter. As much as Iida was trying to calm everyone down, no one really wanted to. Bakugou was by the window, his arm propped on the arm rest. He looked outside but moved his arm around my waist to pull me close to him. The bus moved pretty fast, the city leaving our view, replaced by tall trees and bright skies, the prettiest I've ever seen. I leaned closer to the window, not caring if I was squashing Bakugou, but he didn't seem to mind. As I looked at the scenery, my eyes sparkling from seeing the new view, he pulled me closer, causing me to wrap my arms around his neck, enjoying myself. I lightly pressed my face against his, keeping my eyes entranced to the outside.
"So beautiful," I softly said. I felt Bakugou smile as he ran his fingers through my hair.
"Yeah, you are," he said, his voice barely audible. I turned to him, my heart beating fast and my cheeks turning red. I wanted to say something, but didn't have time. His lips crashed into mine, but I didn't protest. The loud chatter of everyone drowned out. Nothing could be heard except our own pounding hearts. I became brave enough to place my fingertips against his soft cheek, carefully running them against his skin, as if scanning every detail of it. I don't know why, but I expected his skin to be rough, like his attitude, but it wasn't. And I liked it. We parted for air, breathing hard. We were still inches from each other's face, our cheeks bright red. I couldn't help but smile. We rested our foreheads together, simply enjoying each other's warmth.
"I like this," I mumbled, too embarrassed to speak any louder. Bakugou grinned in a comforting way.
"You still haven't admitted I'm the best at kissing," he said, keeping his voice down. I glared at him, and pushed his forehead away.
"Jeez, ruin the moment with your stupid words," I said, crossing my arms. Bakugou's charming face went back to its usual angry one.
"Huh? I didn't ruin anything! You're the one who won't admit I'm better," he growled. I smiled and slide myself into his chest. I knew he was good, but I didn't want to say that to him. He'd get too cocky for his own good. I heard Bakugou grumble, but slid his arm around my waist, not looking down at me. His warmth was all I needed right now. It wasn't long before we fell asleep holding each other.
