do you got plans tonight?
i'm a couple hundred miles from japan tonight.
i was thinking i could fly to your hotel tonight.
cause i can't get you off my mind.

jonah had never been to the other side of the world. he was fascinated by Europe, so he couldn't wait to see Asia.

as he sat in the plane, staring out the window, he could feel the excitement spark in his chest. he was trying to hold in a large smile that was "contagious", according to the fans.

"hey, jonah," he heard daniel's voice say.

he looked over to his friend, and smiled. "yeah?"

"are you okay?" daniel asked, genuinely worried.

"what do you mean?" jonah asked, his brows furrowing.

"you've been smiling like crazy the entire plane ride," daniel whispered. he looked over at a few people who sat near the two. "to be honest, it's kind of scaring me. your foot has been tapping, it's making this annoying noise, and i know you only do that when something...different is happening."

jonah silently chuckled at the reference.

"no," he said. his smile grew smaller, but was still obviously plastered on his face. "there's nothing wrong. nothing...different. i'm just really happy and excited about Asia."

daniel nodded, not really believing the older boy. "oh, okay," he said. jonah nodded and proceeded to look out his window.

jonah knew it. he knew he would love Asia. he had never seen such beautiful artwork, such amazing culture, such shocking technology. he had also never tasted such authentic food.

jonah was also finding himself falling in love. he had felt those feelings before, he knew what they were like, but they felt different this time.

they felt better.

you had attended their first show in Asia with your little sister. she was a complete fangirl about why don't we, while you had no idea what that even was.

at first, you weren't impressed at all.

"it's that guy," you said when you first saw a picture of them. you pointed to one of the boys.

"jack?" your little sister said. "but he has such an amazing voice! and he's so cute! you should see his hair in a bun."

"his hair annoys me," you said, continuing to be the angsty teen you were.

and then you found yourself wound up in a crowd of insane, screaming, and crying teenagers, their hands reaching out to the five boys who performed on the stage in front of you.

you looked around and noticed a few parents with their children. they had the same annoyed look on their faces that you had. you could feel their pain.

"oh my god!" your sister yelled. you were surprised that you could actually hear her through all the noise.

"what?" you asked.

"jonah keeps looking at you!" she yelled back.

"who?"

"jonah!" she pointed up to the stage towards the tallest one with dark brown hair.

and you had to admit, he was the most beautiful human being you had ever seen. even in the dim lighting of the venue, you could see his green eyes. you smiled the tiniest bit to yourself.
