to start off with, jack's parents loved you from the start. they took one look at you and just like that, they knew you were the one. they didn't treat you like you were their daughter, but they definitely treated you like family. whenever you needed something, whenever you needed help or you had a question, you went to them, and they gave you an answer. kristin loved talking to you. she thought that you were everything jack needed and deserved.

on the other hand, his sisters were obsessed with you. the first family dinner was one of your most enjoyable nights with jack because of them. sydnie had talked to you the entire time, and if she wasn't talking to you, then ava was. after the meal, isla showed you around her room and you two played outside. jack's sisters treated you like you were their sister. you were extremely close with the family.

daniel's parents weren't exactly sure of what to think of you when they first saw you. daniel had gotten everybody together at a nice restaurant in portland. you obviously hadn't shown up wearing something skimpy or with a bitchy look on your face. but daniel's parents weren't completely onto the idea of their youngest son dating you. it was only after an hour after the dinner that they realized daniel truly loved you and you truly loved him. from then on, keri could come to you about anything, and you go to her. you and jeff hadn't really formed a relationship like that, but you two were still, in your own ways, close.

anna was your best friend. you met her for the first time that night, and one look was all it took for the both of you to see that you were going to be very good friends. you two talk about anything. fashion, celebrities, boys, how annoying daniel could be at certain situations. daniel joked about how you loved her more than you loved him.

you had already met tyler from tour. he approved of you because you never called him "bam bam". you had gone on the invitation tour in europe with daniel and tyler got to see how much daniel really loved you. of course, daniel would never stop talking about you when you weren't with him. but tyler got to really see how much daniel loved you. you made daniel happy. and if daniel was happy, then you were happy.

the only sibling you never really talked to was chris. you had met him only twice, once at a show, and the other time at one of the family dinners. you thought he was nice. because he was the oldest sibling, he wasn't really around with his parents in portland the way anna was. but, overall, you were definitely delighted with how daniel's family treated you like their family.

corbyn's mother LOVES you. you and corbyn had grown up together in virgina. you met in first grade when a kid spilled paint in class but the two of you cleaned it up. you two were best friends until graduation, when corbyn finally asked you out. you were always there for corbyn. whenever he needed help, whenever he needed happiness, whenever he was heartbroken. you were the person he'd go to. corbyn's mom knew you could be trusted and she knew that corbyn loved you.

ashley had expectations for her brother's girlfriend. she needed her to be perfect for corbyn - weird but in a good way, kind, loyal, and most of all, she had to be trustworthy. and you proved that when you were seven years old. so, yeah, ashley approved big time of you. she was (y/s/n)'s biggest fan. every single picture that was posted of you and corbyn were reposted and liked by her.

corbyn's brother, jordan, did not approve of you. corbyn was his little brother. jordan knew that you and corbyn had been friends since first grade, and he was okay with that. but after corbyn had his heart broken in seventh grade, jordan just about lost his shit. he never wanted corbyn to date anyone ever again. you had learned to deal with it. corbyn told you how overprotective jordan was, and it just made you laugh. but deep down, jordan still thought that you were good for corbyn.

zach herron ↴

there is no word to describe how much mama herron loved you. your conversations - whether it be texting, calling, or face to face - lasted forever. but they were sweet conversation. you were older than zach, by a year and half to be more specific, and you were scared that it would become a reason for his parents to disapprove of you. but you had been wrong to be scared. it was like myta didn't even know. and zach's father was fine with it as well.

reese was your absolute favorite in the entire world. she was so adorable to you. zach had shown you a picture of her on your second date when you were talking about each other's families, and instantly, you fell in love with the little girl. whenever you two were together, you were either playing outside, playing with her squishies, talking about random stuff, or watching tv.

ryan was the one you'd playfully wrestle with. together, you two were rebellious. one time, all zach had done was sit out on the porch and just watch you and ryan roughhouse around together. and the little boy was tough. he wasn't easy to take down. but in the end, zach's family saw you as their daugher almost.

jonah marais ↴
carrie marais was like your second mother. she was always making sure you were safe. for the first year of you and jonah dating, she didn't approve of you at all. you never clearly understood why as you had done nothing wrong to her, jonah, or the rest of the family. you kept it to yourself until you finally broke one day and jonah explained to you that his previous girlfriend was insane and his mother was stubborn about dating. you and carrie talked about it, but the conversation kept leading into different topics. you ended up having a nice conversation with his mother, and it let her see the real you.

esther was like the sister you never had. if anyone messed with you, they messed with her. she was always there for you, even when jonah wasn't. when you and jonah had gotten into a big fight four months into the relationship, you ended up leaving for the night and spending some time at your friend's apartment. jonah had gone to esther and explained the situation. he told her he felt awful and regretted every single second that led up to your fight. esther was the person who brought the two of you back together.

svea was like a little sister to you. you would play with the chickens on their farm together and just hang out while eating popsicles on the porch. you were the person svea would go to whenever she needed help. whether it be with homework or with boys. svea had trouble with this one girl at school, and before jonah could fix the problem, you did. and you made sure no one had a problem with svea again.

you had zeb at his wedding. you hadn't talked all that much, it was his night, but from the small conversations that you both had here and there, you could tell he was just like the rest of his family.
