Brynn and Joe were on their way to Brynn's dad's house since this was their last day in England, they decided to relax and spend some time with him
What they didn't expect to see when they got there was Brynn's mom sitting with her dad in the living room
"What-" she began and her dad's eyes widened
"Brynn?!" He questioned standing up
"Brynn," her mom said, smiling at her
"Dad, can I talk to you outside?" Brynn asked, not taking her eyes off her mom
"That's a good idea," he agreed, walking outside and Brynn took Joe's hand and followed him out cuz no way was she leaving him with her mother
"What the hell is she doing here?" Brynn asked, before her dad could even say anything
"She just showed up, I swear. I didn't want to kick her out but I didn't know you two were coming," he replied
"Well get rid of her." Brynn said, that woman was the last person she wanted to see right now
"Brynn," her dad said and Brynn sighed
"I told her stay for dinner, can you be atleast civil with her?" He begged and Brynn looked at Joe who gave her a look and she rolled her eyes
"I'll try my best." She replied and her dad let out a sigh of relief
They walked up the front steps and Joe pulled her back before she could walk into the house
"This is the first time I'm meeting your mom," he said, eyes wide
"No, it's not." Brynn replied, sure Joe had met her mom at some point
"I meant as your boyfriend." He said and Brynn's mouth fell in a 'o' shape
"So? If she doesn't like you then that's her business." Brynn said, folding her arms and shrugging
"How do I look?" He asked and Brynn playfully rolled her eyes
"Like a dork," she replied and Joe pouted making her lean in and kiss it off
"A cute dork," she continued and he smiled, he looked good. An orange t-shirt and his dark blue jeans

He looked fine and Brynn honestly didn't care either because whether her mom liked Joe or not, she was staying with him
She took his hand and pressed a quick kiss to it before they walked in
Brynn looked at her mom as her eyes scanned Joe and then settled on their joined hands and walked over
"Hello, you're Roman Reigns," Brynn's mom said because that's how Brynn had introduced him all those years ago, Joe gave Brynn a look and she smiled
"Joe Anoa'i." He said with a smile, putting out a hand which Brynn's mom took
"Aren't you married?" She asked, squinting, still haven't let go of Joe's hand
