"I'm so excited to see him!" Brynn said happily as they pulled onto their old street, Jon, Brynn, Robert and his old girlfriend had shared a place in Florida before Jon and Brynn had got to WWE and now, Jon, Brynn, Colby and Joe were on their way to see Robert so that they could invite him to the wedding.
Brynn frowned at the silence in the car and sighed, looking at Jon and Colby through the rearview mirror
"Look you two, you better not ruin today, I know we're all a little tense but not today okay?" Brynn said and Jon and Colby met her eyes
"Yeah okay," they chorused and looked out their own windows
Brynn looked at Joe and sighed, he wasn't talking either and she had no idea why. Hopefully seeing Robert would make her day a little better. She pulled up in front of the familiar house and she heard Jon's breath hitch, she knew the feeling, the place hadn't changed, still small and kinda shitty but- it was her home at a point
She saw Robert run past the curtain and she all but bolted out of the car and as soon as Robert threw open the door and make it down the driveway, she had already jumped into his arms and was currently being spun
"Oh man, I missed you B!" Robert said, letting her down and hugging her again
Jon cleared his throat and Robert broke the hug and he got even happier and jumped on Jon and laughed as they both tumbled to the ground and rolled on the grass
"Ugh you asshole!" Jon laughed as he tackled Robert down, Brynn chuckled and wrapped her arms around Joe's waist when he came up and finally Robert and Jon parted and Robert stood up, and dusted himself off
"Ah the husband, hello, I'm Robert Anthony,"
"Also known as Egotistico Fantastico," Brynn said with a laugh as Robert rolled his eyes and held out his hand for Joe
"Joe Anoa'i," he replied, shaking his hand
"Tyler!" Colby cringed
"Ego!" Robert rolled his eyes as they hugged quickly
"C'mon in guys," Robert said, and walked into the house followed by the 4
"Man, this place hasn't changed!" Brynn commented, walking around the living room and looking at the toaster that never worked, and on the rare chance that it did, it would char the bread. There was the couch that would mess up your back if you ever fell asleep in it and there was...Jon and Brynn's old bedroom.
"I gotta hit the can," Jon said and started walking towards the bathroom as Joe, Colby and Brynn sat down
"So what's the married life been like?" He asked Brynn as he handed them some beers and Brynn laughed
"The same shitty cheap beer," she cheered, Jon was gonna love this
"Actually Rob, that's why we're here, we uh wanted to invite you to come to my part 2 wedding, here in Florida," she said and Robert smiled big and wide as she handed him the envelope
"Oh for sure, I was a little gutted when I heard about the wedding and I didn't get to be there for my girl," he said, pushing her shoulder playfully
"BRYNN!"
Brynn immediately got up and startled at Jon's call, she walked to where she heard it, followed by everyone else, concerned as to why Jon yelled
"Jon are you-" Brynn faded off as she saw what Jon was holding
