It was only about a week before Joe and her 3 year anniversary and right now she was backstage, getting ready and just messing around with Brie, Foxy, Becky and Nikki. Nikki's phone was playing some upbeat song that had a good rhythm and they were just dancing around backstage while Brynn was spraying her hair

It certainly helped that Joe and Colby were sat together going over the script

"Oh yeah Brynn shake it!" Nikki cheered and that's when Joe turned and smiled

Brynn was dancing and Brie was dancing behind her

Brynn laughed and then blushed when she saw the look Joe had on his face

"He really loves you," Brie said and Brynn smirked

"I know, he's awesome," she said with a smile as she winked at him and he bit his lip, shaking his head before turning back to Colby

"Aren't you and him hitting 3 years next week?" Foxy asked and she nodded

"So like- what's the plan?" Nikki asked and Brynn shrugged

"We don't have anything planned really," Brynn replied and shrugged because it was true

"Aren't you thinking bout the future?" Becky asked and Brynn shrugged

"We've talked about it before," she admitted, all this talk of her personal life making her uncomfortable

"Do you think he's gonna propose next week?" Nikki asked Brie and Brynn's blood ran cold

She knew if he actually did propose...her answer would break his heart.

Later in the day, she was with Jon in the hotel room, Joe was in the shower and Colby was coming over in a while

"I think I should tell you something before Colby comes," Jon said, cracking his fingers, making Brynn look at him

"Sure," she said slowly, not knowing where this would go

"If you want to make Colby your best friend, it's alright with me, as long as you're happy," he said and Brynn hid a smile at the sad look in his eyes

"You're not my best friend Jon, you never were." She said with a smirk

"What?" Jon asked, voice cracking looking like he was ready to burst into tears

"Colby's my best friend. You're my brother," she said and Jon bit his lip as he hugged her

"I love you B," he said and she smiled and ruffled his hair

"I love you to kid, now get off me," she said playfully and he smiled and sat back

"But seriously, you're one of the most important people in my life, I hate when you doubt it. You mean alot to me Jonathan Good," she revealed and he smiled

"Alright alright, enough of this sap," he said, pushing her head away

"Jon," she called after a minute of silence as she nervously stared at her hands. He made a noise of acknowledgement and she sighed

"Did Joe say anything about this week?" She asked and Jon thought before shaking his head

"Why?" He then asked

"He wouldn't...propose, would he?" She asked and Jon looked at her

"Why are you so against marrying him?" Jon asked

"I'm not against it, I wanna marry him but you know how Joe is. It's never just one thing." She said and rubbed a hand over her face

"We'll get married and during the reception he'll say he wants kids," she said

"Nothing wrong with that," Jon dismissed

"You want kids?" She asked and Jon hesitated

"Exactly, we had it rough Jon, we're scared to screw up. It's always been that way. Nothing's fucking promised and I hate that this whole thing makes him unhappy, I hate that I can't give him everything he wants." Brynn said, tears filling her eyes

"It just makes me want to hate my mom for fucking up my life. For fucking up my thinking. I hate that I can't make Joe happy," she said

"That ain't true." She heard and Jon and her turned to see Joe in the doorway of the living room, towelling off his wet hair

He then took quick steps and sat down on the other side of Brynn

"I told you already, you make me happier than I've ever been before, with a simple smile you set my heart on fire. I don't care about marriage or kids right now. As long as you're by my side that's all I need," he said, tears coming to his own eyes as he stared into the eyes of the woman who held his heart

"We don't need a ring or a piece of paper to show we love each other." Joe said and he slowly raised his thumbs to gently swipe away the tears on Brynn's cheeks

"The way you look at me, speaks volumes," he finished and smiled sweetly at her

"Oute alofa ia oe," he spoke and Brynn's eyes shone

"Is breá liom tú," Brynn replied and Joe smiled a watery smile and leaned in to kiss her lips, only breaking apart when they heard Jon sniffle

"You alright Uce?" Joe asked, amused

"It's just- y'all are so perfect together," he said, fanning his eyes

"Aw, c'mere," Joe said and wrapped his arm around Jon, effectively sandwiching Brynn between them

Imagine Colby's face when he walked in and saw his three best friends with tears in their eyes, hugging on the couch. He looked at them and blinked

"Who the fuck died?" He asked, holding onto the 12 pack of beers in his hands

They just laughed and Brynn opened her arms for him to join their hug.
