Sore Loser

The crew had made a mistake when they made tickets so no actual tickets were sold, meaning there was no show on tonight so everyone had the day off

Jon, Joe, Brynn, Colby, Trinity, Jimmy and Josh were off today so they decided they'd just chill at Joe and Brynn's place since the tickets would sell out by tomorrow and they'd have to go to the arena that was already in Florida

Growing up in Newcastle, Brynn would get into it with her friends when it came to football, she had alot of power in her body and could probably tackle down Big E

They were at Joe and Brynn's house, chilling in the backyard when Josh brought up the idea

"You know guys, it's been a while since I've seen Uce toss around the old pigskin," he said making everyone 'ooh' and Joe smirked and carefully manuovered Brynn so he could put his beer down

"Bet he got no steam left in that old engine," Jimmy replied, playfully elbowing Josh

"Talking pretty big game there shrimpy," Joe joked still with a smile on his face

"Let's get to it then, saw an old ball in the back shed, you playing babe?" Jimmy asked Trinity and she shook her head, saying she'd be referee

"What about you guys?" Josh asked, looking at Jon and Colby

"I'm game," Jon said, Colby nodding in agreement

"B?" Jim asked, turning to Brynn who nodded, then held up a finger and went upstairs, smirking as she found what she was looking for and put it over the vest she had on already

She walked downstairs, smiling when everyone turned around and stared at her, she turned around, showing them what she had on the back of the green jersey

'ANOA'I 96'

Joe looked at her, tongue between his teeth as he looked at her fondly

It was big on her, so it reached mid thigh and looked good with her leggings and sneakers

They set their endzones and boundaries up and called teams. Was 3 to a side, Brynn and Joe were made captains and were to pick their players

Obviously, Brynn took Jon and Colby and Joe took Josh and Jim

"First team to 3 wins," Josh declared and everyone agreed

Brynn bent over, Jon next to her and Colby behind her

Joe did the same, Jim next to him and Josh behind

Brynn smiled at him as he made his play then called 'hut' he threw the ball through his legs to Josh and Josh took off, Brynn ran backwards as Jon tackled him down before he could throw it to Jimmy, she smirked as Jon picked it up and threw it to Brynn who quickly made it to endzone

"Point Team BCJ!" Trin called from where she was on the patio

They got back into position, Joe had the ball again, he called it and threw it through his legs, this time though, Josh ducked Colby who tried to tackle him and ran to the endzone

"Point Team Triple J!" Trin called

Brynn wiped her forehead and switched the postions, so now Jon was behind her and Colby next to her

Joe called it and Brynn smirked as Colby ran the route and tackled Josh down, and threw the ball to Jon who had ran to the endzone while Brynn blocked Jimmy and Joe

"Point Team BCJ," Trin said and Brynn huffed a laugh

"Huddle!" Brynn called and Joe did the same

She wrapped her arms around Colby and Jon's necks

"We need one more point to win, so here's what I'm thinking," she told them and proceeded to explain her plays

Joe set his play up and Brynn nodded to Jon and Colby and when Joe called it, she speared him to the ground as Jon took the ball and ran to the endzone, Colby blocking Jimmy as he did

"Point and winners, Team BCJ!"

Colby and Jon went to Brynn and lifted her on their shoulders as they clapped, they let her down and Joe spiked the ball

"What's the matter Joe? Sore loser?" Colby taunted

"Fuck off!" Joe yelled and flipped him off, proceeding to walk inside

Brynn furrowed her eyebrows

"B, I didn't mean to-" Colby began looking apologetic

"It's not your fault Co, I'll go talk to him," she said and proceeded to jog inside

Colby was only teasing Joe, he over-reacted.

She saw him sat on the kitchen counter, beer in his hand and hand rubbing down his face, she smiled at the loose strands that managed to escape his ponytail

"Joe?" She called, walking up to him, watching as he looked over his shoulder at her and gave a defeated sigh

"You beat me." He said mirthlessly and Brynn looked at him

"Is that what this is about? Me beating you?" She asked in disbelief

"I'm competitive as all hell, you know that, I played professional football, and you beat me, you played as a hobby, I played for a living, what if I actually sucked?" He asked and Brynn shook her head immediately

"No babe, I saw your tapes, you were amazing, I'm just that damn good," she said making him laugh

"I guess it is a small price to play to see you so happy," he admitted, standing up and turning to her

"I'm sorry for snapping out there, just kinda sucks when you lose at something you swore you were great at," he explained and she nodded, understanding where he was coming from

"Well, I'm wearing your jersey, and I think you're amazing," she said with a honey sweet smile

"You do look very good in that jersey," he said, biting his lip as he looked at her

"In fact, I kinda wanna see how you look in my jersey alone," he whispered, dangerously close to her ear and she smiled at him

"Later, you can have a night with the champ," she told him and he laughed, wrapping his arms around her waist and hers went around his neck

"Right babe, you're the champ," he agreed and she smiled up at him

"Can the champ get a kiss?" She asked, looking at him with the same sweet, innocent smile and he grinned before he pressed his lips against hers

"Lemme go talk to Co," Joe said with a sigh and Brynn nodded, leading him back into the backyard
