Tonight was the night. Joe had a chance to go down in the history books. Brynn was nervous and with the way Joe was pacing and flexing his fingers, she could tell he was nervous to
"Joe," she called but he didn't stop pacing and whispering to himself
"Joe," she tried again, still to no avail
"Babe!" She yelled, grabbing his face between her hands and effectively stopping his pacing
"Stop pacing, you're gonna throw up," she said smiling fondly
"I can't help it. I'm nervous," he said in a small voice
"You're gonna do amazing because this is what you've been working for, for the last 6 years, you can do this, I have the world of faith in you," she admitted and he took a shaky breath
"You think I can beat him?" He asked and Brynn smiled and pecked his lips
"I know you can," she revealed and he smiled and nodded, taking some deep breaths
She was not to go out to ringside, neither were any of the guys, it was to only be Seth and Roman out there
When it was time for his match, Brynn was in shambles, she had all the faith in the world in Joe but what if something went wrong? He'd be crushed. She'd hate to see that happen
She watched Seth pedigree Roman and the ref counted to 2 before Roman kicked out. What she hated, was that this match wasn't scripted, it was one of those 'may the best man win' kinda matches
There were three chairs in the monitor room so she was sitting on Jon's lap, he had his arms around her and his face snuggled into her neck. They had been together before and had been best friends for near 11 years, this kinda stuff, was the norm for them
"C'mon baby," she cheered, looking as Roman gave Seth the 'Samoan Drop'
Jon and the twins were next to her watching the match right by her side. She was thankful for that
Nearing the end, they watched Seth pedigree Roman for what had to be the fourth time and cover him
"No!" Brynn yelled in actual distress, she couldn't see Joe lose this match
Thankfully he kicked out at 2 and Seth went to argue with the referee and when he turned back around, he got hit with the spear and Roman threw his head back in his tribal yell
"1...2...3!" The ref counted and the fans exploded
"Oh my god!" Brynn yelled as she, Jon and the twins joined in a group hug with wide smiles on their faces
"We'll go out first and you'll go after," the twins said, pointing to themselves and Jon and Brynn nodded and they left for the guerrilla
Brynn smiled widely as she stared at the moment when Joe got the championship in his hands
