Corey and Renee stood there looking awful cozy as they waited for the camera guy to load the memory card into the camera
Brynn just shrugged and went to catering seeing Colby and Joe sitting there, so she walked up to their table, ruffled Colby's hair and kissed Joe before taking a seat
They were talking bout their tag team match when they both noticed something was bothering Brynn
"What's wrong B?" Colby asked, looking at her in concern
"Hm?" She asked now realizing what he said
"Oh nothing, just- did Jon and Renee break up?" She asked
Colby and Joe took a moment of silence and looked at each other before looking back at her
"Not that we know of," they said in sync
"Why?" Joe asked, doing the cute head tilt she was so fond of
"It's nothing, don't worry about it." She dismissed as Jon came towards them, sweaty and tired from his match
"Hey guys," he greeted, slapping Joe and Colby's backs and kissing Brynn's hair like he always did and sat with them
But Brynn couldn't get her mind off Renee and Corey
It was now later when Joe and Brynn were in their room just chilling, Brynn had her hand on her stomach, lying on the bed, watching Joe do pushups like he did every night before bed
"So I was thinking to talk to Renee about this whole Corey situation. " Brynn began, getting up and sliding under Joe, knowing right now, he would focus nothing but her
"Why?" He breathed, pecking her lips as he raised and lowered again, grunting as his 4th rep began drawing some energy from him
"Cuz I don't want Jon to get hurt." She replied
"Yeah, but you shouldn't get involved because at the end of the day, Jon's gonna get mad at you," Joe rationalized through his grunts and struggled breathing
"Yeah but-" she began
"Babe," he said, coming down on her and raising up again
"Don't get involved," he repeated and Brynn sighed, grabbing his ponytail and pulling him down as he raised up and she deeply kissed him
"You're so sensible, god I love you," she admitted
"I love you to," he replied with a smile
Just then, the ringtone that Brynn had set for her dad began sounding through the hotel room
She got out from under Joe and answered it, putting it on loud speaker and sitting cross-legged next to Joe
"Hey dad," she greeted with a smile
"Hi sweetheart," he replied
"What's up? You're calling late." She pointed out
"Just wanted to remind you and Joseph that next Sunday is my birthday and I really wanted you guys to fly in." Her dad said
Brynn grinned and rubbed her bottom lip as Joe chuckled
"Of course, we'll be there," Joe agreed, making Brynn's smile widen
"That's awesome son, see you then, bye sweetheart, love you." He said
"Bye dad, love you more," she answered and hung up, smiling as Joe got up from the floor and kissed her forehead, picking up his towel and a pair of boxers and sweats and walked into the the bathroom
Brynn cuddled into the bed and hummed a lullaby her dad used to always sing to her when she was little and couldn't get to sleep and before she knew it, her eyes began getting heavy and she felt Joe's arms wrap around her from behind and finally, she fell asleep, with Joe's warm breath on the back of her neck and that was always something that managed to calm her
