Sacrifice

I want the best for my children since we're having a twins. Yes, we're having! They are the most wonderful gift given to me. I don't know what I've done to the Almighty to give me such blessings. Marahil, sa mga nagdaan ay grabe ang pinagdaanan ko. But, I don't think I deserve this, I mean they're just too much to take. Overwhelming.

A child is a blessing and the twins are so much, much blessing to me. I never asked for this, but it was given to me. So, precious!

Nang unang malaman ko na twins ang anak ko ay hindi talaga ako makapaniwala. It took me two weeks, after we visited an OB to finally realized that it's all for real! Kaya naman si Aki na dating ng mahigpit ay mas dumoble pa. He surpassed being overprotective, well I understand.

Like me, he's so happy too. I still remember, when he heard the two heartbeat inside my tummy. He cried in joy and hugged me so tight.

"Thank you, thank you. I love you so much." He whispered and hug me again.

Hindi lang si Aki ang naging overprotective sa akin. Mama niya rin. Actually, the whole fam. They're all, excited to meet the new members of the family.

Mama always brought me foods and always make sure that it was all healthy. Ginagawa niya 'yon every morning at kapag hindi busy ay dumadalaw sa gabi. They're living in Talavera and we're here in Victoria.

"Darling, you should eat this. This looks so healthy." Mama said as she gave me grapes and offered different kinds of fruit.

Bumaling muna ako ng bahagya sa ibang direksyon tyaka ngumiwi, ayaw ipakita ang naging reaksyon. Masyado na akong nangangasim and I don't think I can eat more.

I smiled.

"Yes, ma." I went to her and hugged her. For a while, I'm starting to feel the motherly love again. "Maybe, I'll eat this later."

Hindi naman sa ayaw ko, kakainin ko naman mamaya. I don't want her effort to be wasted. Talagang hindi ko lang feel kumain.

Nilingon niya ako. "Why? Don't you like it?"

Hindi ako nakaimik, kaya muli niya 'yong dinugtungan. "Okay... I'll buy something. What do you want?"

Umiling ako at ngumiti. No need, I swear to eat that, but later. Bago pa ako makasagot ay may narinig kaming tikhim. Sabay kaming napalingon doon.

"Ang sweet naman." Pang aasar ng papa ni Aki.

Ngumiti ako tyaka bumitiw ng yakap at nagmano kay Papa. He smiled and speak again.

"My, you should not always pushed her to eat fruits. Baka nagsasawa. Here..." Nilabas niya ang isang chocolate mousse cake.

Halos mapanganga ako ron at tumulo ang laway. Agad ko 'yong nilapitan at tinitigan. It looked so scrumptious! Nagpro-protesta na ang aking tyan.

Tinitigan siya ng masama ni mama.

"Sige, Zario. Iyan ang ipakain mo sa mga apo mo." Maarteng komento ni Mama. Tumawa si Papa at niyakap mula sa likod si mama.

Just looking at their view, sobrang naiinggit ako. I hope Zanier is here, too. Si mama na kunwari ay nagtatampo at si papa na panay ang suyo. Kahit na matagal na ang relasyon nila ay hindi parin 'yon nagbago.
