Kon'nichiwa my Japanese readers. I've seen some of your comments from the last chapter and I'm over here like hehehe. There had to be some angst. And if you thought that was bad, just you wait kiddies. There's plenty more where that came from. Although, I probably shouldn't tell you this and just surprise you. But, you'll never know what chapter is angst so that's a surprise for you which is good enough for me. But thank you guys for letting me know that you still like it (even though it's kind of trashy and Caitlin and Barry aren't together yet). I'm glad that you guys are still reading it.

[Barry]

It was halfway through the week and all the alumni had gotten used to their schedules and some had gotten used to not getting any sleep. Barry and Patty were talking a lot as were Caitlin and Ronnie. Barry walked Patty to class, studied with her. He even took her to get Big Belly Burger.

He barely talked to Caitlin, but was still close to Cisco and Felicity. The two had gotten used to their green eyed friend hanging out with Patty, and they got used to her being around.

Patty liked hanging out with Barry. She thought he was nice, smart and pretty cool. She also liked Cisco and Felicity. Cisco was funny and smart while Felicity was awkward but in a good way. She was also really smart so they talked about a few things every now and then.

Cisco and Felicity still talked to Caitlin when they saw her, Ronnie by her side every time. They missed hanging out with both Barry and Caitlin without Patty or Ronnie, but it was already done and they could only hope that things would go back to the way it used to be.

Barry was currently getting ready to head out to get breakfast with Patty, as Caitlin was still in bed. He was halfway out the door when he stopped and glanced back at Caitlin. As he gazed at her, he felt a tug on his heart. He was stuck between two options. To wake or not to wake. He stood there trying to figure out what he should do when his phone vibrated. He saw it was Patty calling her and sighed.

He let the phone go to voicemail as he walked over to Caitlin and crouched by the head of her bed.

"Cait, you've gotta get up now."

He gently shook her and waited. He tried again and watched her eyes flutter open.

"Barry?"

"I know you've gotta get to class. You hate being late."

She yawned and smiled sleepily. "Thanks."

Barry smiled. "It's no problem."

Barry stood up and Caitlin sat up. She rubbed her eyes and stood up and headed to the bathroom. Barry headed out and met up with Patty at the cafeteria.

"Sorry I didn't answer the phone. I had something important to do."

"It's okay. You don't need to apologize."
