[Narrator]The next day, Barry and his mother were out walking around the neighborhood early in the morning while everyone was still asleep.
Barry sleep in the same bed as Caitlin, but they faced away from each other. Barry woke up earlier and his mother was already up and asked if he wanted to go on a walk, which brings us to the current time.
"So, I brought you out here for a reason." Barry glanced at his mother and waited for her to continue
"What do you feel when you're around Caitlin?"
Barry sighed. "Mom-"
"She's a wonderful girl, Barry. She beautiful and i have no doubt that she's smart."
"I know, mom. I know she's beautiful and smart and the best person to be around. But she doesn't deserve all of the hurt I cause her."
"How are you sure about what she deserves? Love isn't easy, Barry."
"Who said anything about love?"
Nora gave her son a look. "Barry."
"I'm not in love with her."
"But there's something there. I'm your mother. I know. And it's okay. You need to accept what you feel instead of telling yourself that you're better off as friends."
"But what if she's too hurt to accept it?"
"Then try your hardest to make it up to her. Show her that you don't want to hurt her anymore. Show her the beautiful man I know you are."
Barry was silent and they continued their walk as he took in his mother's words. Meanwhile, Finn was drinking coffee while watching television quietly and Jessica came down the stairs.
"Morning."
Finn turned his head. "Morning, Jess. There's coffee in the kitchen."
"Thanks."
Jessica headed to the kitchen and poured herself some coffee. She didn't join Finn in the living room, instead she leaned against the island. She knew she had to talk to Finn and tell him everything that she told Simone. She went outside as she pulled out her phone and dialed Simone's number.
"I need you help." was the first thing she said when she heard Simone pick up.
"With what?"
"Telling Finn."
"You still haven't talked to him?"
"I don't know how to approach him."
"Maybe by saying 'we need to talk?' Or 'I need to talk to you?' Or something along those lines."
"But what if I tell him and he doesn't like me anymore?"
"Jess, Finn is crazy about you. And you didn't do anything wrong. As long as you tell him and get this off of your chest, then you'll be able to move forward."
Jessica was silent for a second before nodding, even though Simone couldn't see her. "Okay. Okay, you're right. I need to talk to him to be able to let it go."
"Exactly. Channel your inner Elsa."
Jessica smiled. "Thank you. I'm glad that we're on good terms now."
"I am too. And you will be on good terms with Finn is you talk to him. So go."
The two said goodbye and said Happy Thanksgiving to each other. When Jessica had went back into the house and went into the living room, Finn was gone.
Caitlin woke up due to the sound of her phone vibrating on the nightstand.
"Hello?"
"You're still asleep?"
Caitlin sat up and was confused to hear her sister's voice on the other line. "Natalie?"
"The one and only. How's it going? Have you and Barry made it official?"
"How do you that Barry's even here?"
"He told me he was going home for Thanksgiving and that you were going with him. So, is it official?"
"Is what official?"
"You and Barry? You're dating now?"
Caitlin sighed. "No. We're not even close."
"Why? I thought this would make you guys closer."
"He ran away from me, Nat. That's not something I can forget about."
"Have you talked to him about it?"
"No. Not really."
"So then what are you waiting for?"
"I don't know. I already talked to Barry's mom who said she'd talk to him but I don't know if he'll talk to me."
"Oh, I think he will. But you should really tell him how you feel. Maybe he'd understand where you're at."
"I guess. Nat?"
"Yeah?"
"How's mom?"
Natalie was silent. "She's doing well. Cait?"
"Yeah?"
"I think you should call her. I think she'd like that."
Caitlin thought about it for a second. "Yeah. I'll call her. I should probably head downstairs. They must all be up by now."
"Caitlin."
"Yeah?"
"I'm sorry about what I said to you about your father. That was inconsiderate of me."
"I know it's because of mom. And I know that I haven't been the best daughter to her."
"She still loves you. And I think it's time me to love you too."
"Natalie."
"Half, fully, or not related at all, you're my sister. You'll always be my sister. And I'll always be yours."
"Happy Thanksgiving, Nat."
"Happy turkey day, sis. And if by the time this week is over and I find out you didn't talk to Barry, I will come after you."
Caitlin let out a laugh. "Okay. You do that."
After saying goodbye, Caitlin set her phone down and went to bathroom before joining the others in the living room. Barry and Nora we're back from their walk and Finn had come down again.
"So what are your plans for today?"
The 5 of them glanced at one another, and Barry glanced at his mom
"We don't really know what to do."
"There's a lot to do. You guys can talk to each other, watch a movie, maybe go for a walk. Barry, you could show them around town."
"Going out sounds nice. Plus, some people have already put up Christmas lights."
Barry stood up and went over to his mom. "We'll see you later."
"You're welcome."
Barry smiled and placed a kiss on his mother's cheek as everyone got their coats and and waited by the door. They took Barry's car again and sat in the same seats as they did the first time. Barry took them to the mall and they all went inside to the food court.
"So, what's the plan?"
"I want to look at clothes."
Caitlin agreed and everyone went to shop. Barry, Finn and Cisco were the judges of the clothes Caitlin and Jessica picked out, which made caused heart eyes from Finn and Barry.
And for the remainder of their time there, they were drama free
