[Narrator]

'Maybe you should tell him how you feel. Then maybe you guys could start dating and then he won't kiss other girls.'

Caitlin rolled her eyes. Leave it to her inner voice to try and get herself to talk about how she feels.

She was currently in her dorm room, Barry and Natalie weren't there and there was a knock on the door. She opened the door and smiled at the sight of Simone.

"Hey, Si-"

"How do you feel about Barry? Like genuinely speaking."

Caitlin pulled Simone in and they sat on her bed. "Do you want to know?"

Simone nodded and Caitlin was silent before speaking. She poured her heart and by the end of it, Simone was smiling.

"I think Barry deserves to hear it. Aren't you dating him though?"

"No, we're not dating."

"But you want to."

Caitlin hesitated before nodding. "I do."

"Then why don't you tell him?"

Caitlin shrugged. "I don't know. I guess I just like how things are right now. It might sound silly, but I think Barry and I know that even if there's anybody else, it's always going to be us two."

"It doesn't sound silly. It's cute. But I still think you should talk to him. You both have to verbally say how you feel and go from there."

"I'll do it. Just not now. I have to help my sister find a major."

"I thought she was already enrolled?"

Caitlin shook her head. "She's not. She came here to visit and has been staying with us."

"And you're not worried that Natalie might have a crush on Barry?"

"No. Plus, I think she and Cisco have a crush on each other."

"Yeah, well, she wouldn't be the only one."

Simone glanced down at her fingers as Caitlin smiled.

"You have a crush on Cisco."

"Yes! He's smart, geeky, funny, and..." Simone sighed, "He's sweet, caring. Something that I've been looking for."

"But."

"But I don't know how to say anything to him. I've never spoken to a guy about how I feel. Plus, you said your sister might like him."

"But I'm not 100% sure. You could give him hints, or you could just talk to him."

"You could just talk to Barry."

The two shared a smile before Caitlin's alarm rang.

"I should get ready for class. Do you want to walk with me?"

"No, I have to get back to Jess and Finn. Thanks, though. Maybe next time."

They both said goodbye and Simone returned to Jessica's dorm.

"Where were you?"

"Getting an answer."

She turned to Barry. "When are you going to tell her?"

"I have a plan."

"Does it involve telling her that your teammate kissed you but you didn't kiss back?"

"Yeah. I just hope that she doesn't hate me by then."

Jessica shook her head. "She won't. For as long as I've known you two, I can pretty much guarantee that she won't hate you. Now, she might be a bit jealous but I don't think she'd hate you."
