"Winn, where have you been? Mr. J'onn is looking for you as well as the whole tech crew!" Kara scolded him openly, calming down slightly at the sight of Lena walking past her with a small smile.

"I've just been.. running a few err-"

"Alex? Maggie? What are you two doing?" Kara narrowed her eyes at the two trying to slip away.

"Oh.. us? We're just trying to find our seats, actually I see mom over there" Alex took Maggie's hand with a nervous smile before sprinting off.

"Also, go get changed, James is not coming" Before she could ask,Winn had already announced that Kara would be replacing James and went off to prepare with the tech crew.

Slightly confused and feeling like she was going to throw up from the flood of jitters, she quickly ran into the changing room.

"1,2,3..1,2,3 all actors on stage"

Kara took a deep breath. She was doing great so far. She hadn't stuttered, nor missed any lines. And most of the students seemed elated at the replacement of Kara as the knight. Now, was her first scene with Lena.

Saving Lena.

"Princess! Alas, I have found you!" Kara yelled from the ground, looking up at the tower.

"And who are..." Lena fought a smile seeing it was Kara, her passion in her lines increasingly more noticeable.
"You?" She stuck her head out the window with a raised eyebrow.

A few murmurs erupted in the crowd. Most positive.. a few negatives thrown here and there. Lena only continued, ignoring the few slurs from the crowd. Most about her brother.

"I am the knight of the Zor-el kingdom" Kara broadened her shoulders, giving complete eye contact, hoping to distract Lena from the shouts from the boys in the front row.

"I never knew a princess can be a slut?" One shouted. Lena only continued with a smile, while Kara was two steps away from strangling the kid."

"And I have come to save you from the clutches of the agonizing prince"

"He will never let me leave, we are getting married this evening" Lena sighed, her eyes glossy.
"He needs me.." quickly, she snapped back from her slightly dazed state.

"That is why I've come to save you. We must leave this instance before it is too late" Kara began to think of yesterday, scrunching her hands to fists.
"Because you deserve better, princess. And you must not carry the burden yourself"

Nodding with a sad smile as she caught on to what Kara was saying, Lena held her breath as she climbed down from the tower. Kara held out her hand chivalrously, leading Lena beside her.

"Princess Lena I-" Kara paused, wincing as the roar of the dragon erupted.
"We must go, the dragon may return"

"I thought you slayed the dragon as your brave knight-y self" Lena teased, deciding to keep in their past improvisation.

"I did.. but, there seem to be two" she shrugged with the same goofy grin as yesterday.

"Oh, of course, silly me" Lena waved her hand dismissively.

"Yes, silly you" Kara chuckled.
"Now, lets go. The prince is surely waiting for his bride"

"What if.. what if the princess doesn't want her prince"

"Well that is why I am helping you escape" Kara became slightly nervous at the surprise improvisation.

"But, what if she wants someone else"
