Chapter 7. She Looks...

The following week was our examination week.

Math and World History were on Monday, Biology and English on Tuesday. We've passed our projects in the major subjects on their due dates, and we didn't have any written exams on the others.

We only had to submit our individual projects on Arts, Music, and Homeroom on Wednesday and Thursday. Then a practical exam for P.E. class on Friday.

I think I did great on the projects, but not on the exams. I also decided not to kick New Girl out, since she actually did and finished her part.

I haven't seen her, though.

She was absent on Monday, and that was the only day that I have exams together with her. I only heard from my friends that she goes straight home after the exams.

When I asked Donghyuck and Renjun about her, they teased me, saying that I was missing her. I had to roll my eyes until I saw my brain again.

I got tired (of seeing my brain) eventually, so I just agreed with them.

"Yes. I miss her, okay? I miss bullying her." I told them, laughing my head off when their expressions changed from "aw, you miss her, that's so sweet" to "don't you dare go near her."

Fun times.

I do secretly miss her, though.

I mean, I guess I wasn't used to not seeing her. Not to mention, it was four days straight.

Friday

1:47 p.m. I sat on the bleachers as I tried to catch my breath. My friends sat down with me, either drinking water or wiping off their sweat.

Today was the last day of exams, as well as the last day of school. It was P.E. and we had a practical exam. A basketball match for the boys, and volleyball for girls.

Renjun, Jeno, and I were teammates while Donghyuck and Jaemin were on the other team. We had a good game, but our team won. It was a close one, though.

My friends and I are pretty good players. Renjun and Jeno particularly scored the most in our team while Jaemin and Donghyuck did the same in theirs. I scored the winning point by the end.

"You know, we could've won the game if it weren't for that idiot, Sungho." Donghyuck complained next to me.

He was right. They could've won if only I didn't snatch the ball from Sungho and scored those three points. Poor Sungho.
