12:31 p.m. I was brooding during Chemistry class when Jeno tapped my shoulder and whispered to me.

"Jaemin texted me, he said Areumi didn't go to class."

What?

The moment I heard that, deep worry suddenly washed over me. Of course I couldn't deny the fact that I was still worrying about her, even though we just had a fight.

"Does he know where she is?" I whispered back, my eyebrows knitted.

"No. Weren't you with her at lunch?"

"I was but she—she didn't wanna talk to me." I lied a little.

I haven't told them about our fight. I was too upset to even mention it.

"Hey, guys. You might wanna open the group chat." Renjun suddenly joined in the conversation.

He had a worried face, so I immediately registered in the school's Wi-Fi system and opened our group chat.

Jaemin:

Donghyuck:
MARK WHERE

Me:
I'm sorry guys.
I'll go look for her
after Chem.

Mark Lee is offline.

I looked at Jeno and Renjun with an apologetic expression.

Oh, no. What did I do?

As Chemistry class dragged on, I couldn't stop fidgeting on my seat. I wanted it to end so I could sprint out of the room and run around the school to look for her.

I didn't want to worry Jeno nor Renjun, so I tried not to look too panicked. But I think I failed at that simple task, because they both kept glancing at me, and Renjun asked me if something happened between us.

"Mark, something happened. Didn't it?" He whispered to me.

I looked at him, my eyebrows furrowed, which gave me away.

"What happened?"

"I'm sorry. I'll fix it, I promise."

He just nodded at me and sighed. I sighed heavily too as I got my phone from my pocket.
